Luke's POV;
"Aly! Elianne! That was rude." I said as I sat at what I figured was my new table. I was referring to what they did earlier. "Calm down Luke..We saved you. They are the freaks of this school." Aly said. I stood up.
"Where the hell are you going?" Elianne asked. "Home." I said.
It's not that cutting school was my usual thing, (and trust me its not) its just that I didn't want to be that guy again. I wanted to seem like him. Big difference. As I walked out of the building I thought on where I could go. Home wasn't an honest option. It was a literal hell. My parents, my brother...Horrible family. I can't really figure out why my family is the way it is, I just want out of it.
I pulled a cigarette out of my pocket. One of my worst habits is smoking, but also my best. It calms my nerves and just keeps me from completely stressing out. I walked calmly down the road slowly exhailing watching the smoke float into the air. I put the cigarette out before stepping into a local burger joint. I went to find a table when I saw Savannah and Jackson. I stopped at their table and smiled.
"Go away." Savannah said.
"Progress." I joked.
"Just go." She said a little angrier.
I looked at Jackson and he just shifted his eyes to the door. "What's up with you guys? What did I do?" I asked. "You are one of the jerks. Its exactly why I don't talk to you! Your type always pretends. They pretend to actually wanna be someone's friend! But we're the freaks right? Your "crew" would never want to be seen with us! Just go away! I know who I am and it may be a freak but I don't care and neither does Jackson." Savannah snapped at me.
"What the hell are you talking about? I am not friends with them. They're just making me talk to them, I would honestly love to be your friend." I smiled. Savannah rolled her eyes. "Come on Flash..." Jackson said standing up. I bit my lip as they walked away. "Where'd you get that nickname?" I called after them. "I run." Savannah said quietly walking away. When they had physically left out of the door I chased after them. "So do I." I smiled catching up with the two. Jackson sighed. "Luke... Do you not understand that we don't need your friendship? We don't want it anyway." Once the words left her mouth I didn't say anything. They kept walking but I was not going to give up.
"I'm throwing a party this weekend, I'd love for you and all of your friends to come... I'm sure you have a ton." I smiled at Savannah. She looked up at Jackson. "Five." She said turning back to me. "What?" I asked. "I have five friends... We're the "outcasts" in society. We don't need your parties either." She spoke harshly this time. I could tell she was annoyed and I was done with it. "Fine! Whatever. Don't show up.. Show up. I don't care now. It's Friday." I said finally walking away.
Savannah's POV;
I walked with Jackson up to my house. "Are you sure you don't want to go to the party?" He asked. "Dice...I really don't want to. I'd rather hang out with you, Amber, Miles, Lulu, and Dana I guess."
Dana and I weren't ever really friends. She kind of forced her way into the circle because she's dating Jackson. He smiled. "Alright then. We wont go." I nodded. My dad wasn't home yet so we just hung out on the couch for a while before we finally decided to go up to my room. I looked in my mirror as I removed all of my makeup and tied my hair into a bun. Jackson smiled at me. "You look even better without the makeup on." He said. "Oh Jackson..Sweet, insecure Jackson." I said laughing.
In case you didn't know, I'm closer to Jackson than anyone else in my life. Even my dad. "So, about that party..." He trailed off. I sighed. "Do you want to go Jackson?" I asked. He nodded rapidly. "It's probably the only "popular" party we will ever be invited to!" He whined. "Hey! Popularity doesn't matter, but if you want go...We can go." I said. His smile grew big.
