Chapter 6

"You're an amazing woman Ellysse."

"Thank you for the compliment Anton."

"We need to eat first. Before I share with you my story."

"You don't have to. Isa pa I already knew everything about you."

"Not everything."

"Do I need to signed an NDA?" She teased him.

"What for? You won't sell my story to the media right?" Biro nito.

"I might, pag na bankrupt​ ang business ko." At mabilis siyang kumatok sa kahoy na mesa. "Huwag naman sana." And again she heard him laughed.

"You know your the only girl who can make me laugh."

Ilang sandali pa ay may dumating na dalawang waiter na dala ang dinner nila. Umalis din kaagad ang mga ito.

"I'm starving, come on let's eat."

She sway a little, she wasn't aware that she's already drunk. "I think I'm already drunk and why am I the only one drank here?"

"Because I'm used to drinking​ this kind of wine, and high ang tolerance ko sa alcohol."

"Common, you need to eat para magkalaman iyang tiyan mo."

"Yes sir." She said and make a salute sign.

He chuckled, revealing his cute dimples. Hay, he is really is perfect.

"You're cute."

Suddenly she became conscious. "Am I?"

His levels his face to her. He put her stray hair behind her ear. "Yes you are sweetheart."

Saka lang niya nakaramdam ng gutom ng buksan niya iyong cover nung serving platter niya, inside she saw what the chief cooked for them, it's a mouthwatering steak.

"It's an oregano and basil t-bone steak for the side dish it a pouch potatoes with shallots and bacon. I hope you like it." Anton said to her.

"It sounds delicious."

Nakangiting sabi niya dito.
"It is."

She enjoyed how the steak are cooked it's so tender and full of flavor.

He gave her a cold sparkling water.

"Thank you. Can you give my compliment to the chief?"

"I will, I'm glad you like them. It's one of my favorite."

"Yeah I really love it."

" I'm happy to know that your not like the those girls na sobrang conscious kumain. You eat everything that's in your plate with gusto."

"I'm just lucky dahil mabilis ang metabolism ko, kaya kahit gaano kadami akong kumain Hindi ako mabilis tumaba."

"Come lets take a walk para bumaba agad iyong mga kinain natin." Hand in hand, They walked silently in the stillness of the night. I hope everything is not a dream. She whispered to herself.

"Now we're will I start..."

"No Anton, you don't have too. What I know about you is enough for me."

"But I want to, I'll start with things that the media doesn't know about me."

"Okay." It feels good that he trusted her with that.

"I was born in a broken family like you, they died when I'm 10 years old in a car accident and I'm with them."
He stopped walking while his face the calm ocean. With the help of the moonlight, she saw the sadness cross in his handsome face. "They both died on the spot, and I'm the only survivor. I saw how my parent fight and sometimes my father hurt my mother. My father is half Filipino and half Italian and my mother, she's pure Italian. My father married my mother because she's rich and a sole heir. I know my mother loves my father, but my father is a selfish bastard, a gambler and a womanizer. The day they both die, they are quarreling because my father sold our grape farm in La Union without my mothers knowledge.

Kaya like you palaki din ako Ng grandparents ko sa mother side. My grandfather teach me how to manage my inheritance and the vineyard. Before I became a Hotelier, I'm a vintner first. The wine that we drank kanina, was name after my mother, Anne Marrione it was made when she was still pregnant with me. It's a 32 years old wine."

"So about my relationship, they were all just flings, and a bed partner. Wala akong tumatagal na relasyon. The longest I have, lasted for only 3 months. They knew what to expect from me, yes they came with me with most of the functions​ I attended, but I never live in with them, Like you I don't believe in love myself. For me love is not for everyone, especially not in my case, I'm sorrounded by fakes and gold digging female, who just wants me because of my status, and my money.

But I know love do exist. I saw them with my grandparents who's madly in love with each other until now, and I also saw love with Uel and Katherine.

He held her hand tightly, while she listens quitely. She can feel his pained, she knew despite of how successful​ and rich he is, he's still like a boy, inside his lonely and empty, who just wanted to be loved, and find love. The saying is true, Happiness is the only things that money can't buy.

And she promised herself, if she's given a chance to be with him, she will do everything in her power to give him all the love that he needs to be happy, complete and contented. And suddenly she wanted to give him a home he can returned to after work, with a happy family waiting for him. Then they will grew old together like his grandparents.

Muli niyang hinanap ang lucky star niya, there are so many stars dangling in the the dark sky tonight. Hoping for the second time her wished will be granted.

A long moment had passed before he continued, this time she saw a paint smile form in his handsome face, as if he remembers something nice.

"Then I met this woman wearing a pretty lavender dress in an art exhibit." Is he talking about me? Did he really noticed me??? She waits for him to turn to her way, but he didn't.
I silently watched how she lost in the painting that I also like. She's with her friend at that time. I was mesmerized by her simplicity and her beauty, so when she's alone I got the chance to get close to her, I plan to talked to her and get to know her. Then she finally notice me, I can feel she's staring at me, and for the first time in my life I felt nervous. And when I'm about to talked to her my annoying date interrupted me.

She laughed​ softly. "And I know what happened next. You can be so heartless you know that Anton."

This time he turns around and he's eyes were smiling with amusement. "I know, that's what all my previous ex's always accused me. I broke up with Lucy that night because she starting to annoy me and shes too clingy. I only put up with her because she's good in one thing."

"And what is it?" She asked him innocently.

He looked at her teasingly. "You sure you wanna know?"

Her face flushed when she finally understand what's his talking about. "I already knew." Aniya at inismiran ito. "Pervert."Mahinang bulong niya.

Then she earned a hearty laughed from him again. That makes her feel good, she like this carefree side of him. She want to see him this happy all the time.

"I have a proposal for you and you don't have to answer me right away." Anton said.

"What is it?" She asked curiously.
