Her Way Home

Chapter 9

Ku, hayaan mo na ako. Masaya akong pinagluluto ka." tahimik lang siyang nakikinig sa usapan ng dalawa.

"Show her the garden Anton, I'm sure she'll love it, habang tinatapos ko itong breakfast ninyong dalawa."

"You have a garden here?" She asked Anton surprisingly.

"Yes, we have a spacious balcony outside it has a swimming pool and garden in it."

"Really? Wow, I love to see them." She said excitedly.

He smiled at her tenderly. "Sure, let's go."

Ipinasyal muna siya ni Anton  penthouse apartment nito bago sila tumuloy sa balcony.  Everything in his apartment screams luxury. The interior of the two storey apartment is a combination of minimalist and modern design. This penthouse has the same personality like it's owner, very elegant, dark and exquisitely beautiful. She also saw arts hanging on the white wall,  she  remembered he said that his apartment has five bedroom and six toilets. There's the pool, his office and his wine cellar were he keeps his wine  collections.

"There's painting everywhere? Are you an art collector too?"

"No I'm not an art collector, but I paint, some of the painting are my creations."

"Really? Wow. Your amazing, is there  anything else you can't do?"

He let out a hearty laughed. "I can't cooked, come I'll show you something."

Hinila siya nito sa office nito. "Looks familiar?"

"That's the painting in the art exhibit? So you're the one who bought it."

"Actually, I bought it for you, I know you wanted to have it."

"I won't accept it, I know it's expensive." She quickly said.

"Why?"

She looked down shyly. "I'm not comfortable accepting expensive thing's like that specially coming from you."

"But I want to give it to you." He insisted.

"I know you do, but you don't have to. I have my own money Anton,  since I really like the painting I wanted to buy it from you."

"No, I won't accept your money, I have plenty of those." His voice hurt, she knew she offended him.

"I'm sorry, it just that I'm not
like one your ex's that am- I don't need your money." She said quickly bago siya naunahan ng hiya.

He push her on the wall, and before she knew it his giving her  a punishing kissed. She knew his mad at her. She's almost run out of breath when he stop. "Don't... Just don't compare yourself with my previous relationship, your not like them."

A tear fell from her eyes. "I'm sorry."

Then he kissed her again this time it's gentle. She automatically envelope her arms to his neck  and kissed him back. "Am I forgiven?" She said in between the kisses.

"Yes, if you will gladly accept it."

She looked at him for a long time,  then she let out a sigh. She knew she's not gonna win. "You won't take no for an answer, right?"

She heard him chuckled. "Damn right sweetheart."

"Alright, but this is the first and the last okay?"

"I wouldn't promise you something I can't keep. Let say for now."

"I just want you to know that I'm not a materialistic kind if person Anton,  I'm more happy with simple things,  like if you would show me the garden now. That would make me sooo... happy." she said while her eyes sparkle with excitement.

"You know you're amazing and one of a kind. And I'm damn lucky that your are mine."  He said proudly while he gently kissed  the top of her nose.

Her eyes grew wide with amazement, ng nasa balcony na sila. Anton is right it's huge, she saw the  rectangular swimming pool,  sa covered space nito she saw an outdoor sofa kung saan nakahain na ang breakfast nila. And on the far side corner of the balcony, she saw the beautiful garden. There are many different kids of orchids, most of them are Cattleya's in different sizes and colors na nakalagay sa plastic pot, they were all neatly arranged according to their colors.

Mayroon din siyang nakitang roses na nakatanim sa mga paso, she saw red, pink, white, orange, yellow roses. And daisies too. Her favorite flower.

"Oh, Anton they're lovely." She looked at him with awe.

"This is my grandmother's garden. Nana Carmel is the one maintaining it."

"You have a lovely home Anton, do you stay here often?"

"Yes, this is the only house I have here in the Philippines." He wispher behind her back. For you, he gave her a freshly picked daisy. "Oh... Thank you." She tiptoe and place a gentle kiss on his lips and  he kissed her back passionately.

"Come on, let's eat, I'm starving."

When they finished eating their breakfast, they both decided to lay down in the loveseat swing na nasa tabi ng swimming pool. It's big enough to fit both of them inside.

"What's your plan for today?" Anton said.

"I'll go home first, para iuwi ang mga gamit ko, and then visit my boutique." She turned to him. "You?"

"I have a luncheon meeting today, and do some paperwork's."

"In that case I need to go na." Bago siya makatayo ay muli siyang niyakap nito pabalik sa mga bisig nito. "Not so fast, sweetheart. We're the boss of our own company, so we don't need to hurry." He started kissing her neck while his hands travel all over her body.

"Anton." She moan.

"Yes sweetheart."

"What are you doing? Baka may makakita sa atin dito."

"No one will dare to go outside without my permission." Still she felt uncomfortable. And Anton sense it.
He suddenly stopped. She knew his trying to be easy on her. He kissed her temple softly. "I'm sorry, if I scared you. I got carried away."

She quickly shook her head. "No I'm not scared, it's just that, I'm  a little uncomfortable making out with you here out in the open. We can do this somewhere private, like in your room . She said quickly, she knew she's blushing with embarrassment.

He chuckled. "Well, it's your fault because your so damn pretty and sexy this morning wearing just my shirt that's why I can't keep my hand off you."

Nabigla siya ng buhatin siya nito sabay talon sa swimming pool na kasama siya. She screams, while he laughed at her so hard. Ilang sandaling pa ay parang mga bata silang naghabulan sa tubig, at kahit ng makaahon na sila sa swimming pool ay hindi pa rin ito tumigil. He tickle her mercilessly. "Stop Anton. Stop it please." She beg.
