The truth about me

Hi my name is Rose. I'm sixteen turning seventeen in a month. My life is normal as you would expect but it really isn't. I wld rather stay inside then go out. But living with the family I live with, my friends they make me go out. Weather it is parties or going on a family holiday. They will always make me go.

The reason to why I have wanted to stay at home is because I'm scared of what will happen. I've done many things to try and get away from earth none of which worked. Why you my ask well my mom is always watching over me no matter what. "Rose are you okay" she asks everyday. I'm always being looked after. I always say I'm fine when deep down inside I want to cry.

If you haven't already noticed I'm not depressed well not yet. But I've been through rough patches that many of my friends don't understand. My dad moved out when I was 12. He didn't give us a reason to leave he just did. How do you tell your friends or family that he was the reason for everything in your life to go wrong.

He abused me when I was younger to the point where I wouldn't come home. I would stay at my best friends house. His mom knew all that happened. My best friends name is Damon. We are still the best of friends. He is the only one who understands what I have gone through.

My dad hasn't called, texted or even sent birthday presents. He seems to have forgotten about us. The whole family and by whole family I mean: My twin sister (her name is cassy) my mom and brother (jake). He has not even sent Christmas gifts. I mean who does that. Well apparently "my father" does.
