Hey Smurflettes

So, I'm back at it again with trying to get my books published. This time, I've uploaded two of them on Inkitt. They're part of a series (Book 1 & 2) and they're a teen fiction series.

I need your help to get them published. I have to reach a certain number of reads (6000) on the site for them to be considered. Please check them out and share this post with your friends and family.

He watched her as she slept. He was supposed to be preparing for a meeting he had in a few hours, but his eyes kept wandering over to her. Her breathing was light and she was calm, something he knew she appreciated.

It was certainly welcomed after the whirlwind of nightmares she'd had in the past three days, with her most violent one attacking her just hours ago. She was so terrified that he wasn't sure whether or not to touch her.

But he quickly learnt that much like he had on the way to Thailand, talking her out of the nightmare worked best.

She still wouldn't open up to him about what was plaguing her so, but he had no intentions of rushing her. After finding out that he himself was having nightmares, he knew he had no right to rush her.

Especially after lying to her.

While he had no idea what was haunting his dreams, telling her that Thea was the only other person to tell him about the nightmares was a lie. His mother and grandfather were well aware of the nightmares as well since they started in his teenage years.

He just didn't want to face whatever it was.

He's a brave and fearsome man to many, but he was a coward of note in this regard. He didn't want to know what was haunting him, and so he refused all the help offered to help him find out and deal with the nightmares.

Before the one in Bangkok, it had been three years since his last one and he was sure that they were gone.

When he had moments alone to think, his mind would get lost trying to figure out what had brought them back. He thought that he was in a good place. He was happy with his new life, and his wife made him look forward to a better future, so he couldn't understand what had triggered the nightmares.

A beeping notification sound brought him back to his emails. It was from his mother. She was emailing him back a list of orphanages that he and Diamond could check out. She just didn't know that since he'd told her that he was looking for a new investment for the foundation.

He wasn't ready for her to find out what his true intentions were just yet.

He thought back to the conversation he'd had with his wife about adopting. The more they spoke about it, the more on board he was, especially seeing how happy it made his wife. He'd found himself seeing the future that she was describing for them.

And he loved every minute of it.

He responded to his mother, asking that she set up meetings for them. She responded minutes later, saying that she'd get back to him once the meetings were set up. He was satisfied with the response and couldn't wait to share the news with his wife.
