"Ooooooh. Look, what's going on?! " A voice shouts, disturbing their moment. Louis who had just rested his head on Harry's chest, is so startled that he almost falls.

Oh no. Harry still hadn't officially come out. Louis is ready to move aside when Harry catches his elbow softly, and holds him close.

Keeping Louis close, Harry carefully turns them to the source of sound.

"Yes?"

"What are you two doing?!" Caroline shouts, pointing a well manicured finger in their faces.

"Dancing. " Harry replies coolly.

"Harry! Why are you dancing with the faggot?!" Caroline screams.

Louis is so ready to move away and be miserable all by himself. But before he can even take a step away, Harry speaks up.

"Don't. " Harry says, gritting his teeth.

"Don't what? " She says, confused.

"Don't call him that. "

"Or what, huh?" Caroline smirks, crossing her arms.

"Caroline. " Harry says in a warning voice.

"What? Is he your little boyfriend now, huh? " Caroline shouts, pointing at Louis.

"Yes! I am gay. I like the same gender. Love is not bound to men loving women. I can love whoever I want to! So can anyone. Love knows no bounds. Alright? Now, will you please just leave us the fuck alone?!" Harry shouts back, holding Louis so close to him, Louis could almost hear his rapidly increasing heartbeat.

Caroline is dumbfounded and leaves, all the while stomping her heels, but not before snarling at Louis and Harry.
"Harry. . . What? " Louis asks, as he too is dazed that Harry implied Louis is his boyfriend.

"Louis. . . I. . I've been trying for quite a while, I know you deserve someone better than me. But I can't help but see some hope that you will say yes.. " Harry trails off rubbing circles on Louis' back to keep him from moving away.

"To what? "

"Um. . Being my boyfriend?"

"Wha-"

"Hey Harreehhh! C'mon mate, it's time to cut the cake!" Niall smiles a wide smile taking Harry with him.

Louis stays there wide eyed. What just happened?

Oh god. Harry asked him to be his boyfriend. This must be surreal.

He's been dreaming about this moment from so long that he can't believe that it finally came true.

"Earth to Louis! " Liam says, exasperated.

"Huh? " Louis says, confused.

"Let's go. Harry's about to cut the cake. "

"Hm. " Louis says, still trying to grasp the concept of Harry Styles asking him to be his boyfriend.

"So.. Should I pick you up or. . .?" Liam says, shaking his head.

"Hm.. " Louis says, still lost in his thoughts.

"What? Okay. " Liam says, laughing and picks him up.
