The White Rabbit?

"Who are you?" I ask nervously. "Dear Alice there will be plenty of time for introductions later, we get going the-" he was cut off by the sound of howls coming closer. "Wolves are coming" he finished sounding slightly frantic, should I go with him? I don't know him do I? He seems to know me... I don't him but I-I trust him strangely it’s like my heart is telling me to trust him to go with him; wait is he the mystery man, the one who helped that day? I felt the same way when I read the note he left.

"Dear Alice as much as your 'deep in thought' face is adorable, the wolves are approaching fast and I would like to avoid a situation like last time and I'm sure you would as well" he said with an amused expression. Looking up I didn't realize he had finally come into view because I saw his face when he was talking. How did I not notice him move? Was I really that deep in thought? Getting a good look at him I noticed how handsome he was, then I saw it the things that would surely prove me to be mad if I ever told someone what I saw. I couldn't believe it the man in front of me had-had RABBIT EARS!! I just stare at him in amazement I wasn't scared, I wasn't disgusted, I was just simply amazed they looked so soft and fluffy I wanted to pet them. Slightly chuckling he grabbed my hand I was too distracted to really even notice. "Alice dear please forgive me but like I said the wolves are close and if we don't move I'm sure they'd enjoy us as snacks" he said pulling me along running. Running, when did we start running? Looking at him running in front of me I notice he had a cute little tale on his butt it looked just like a cotton ball, I softly chuckled but I know he heard me because he looked back and had a smile on his face while his eyes shined with amusement. We were brought out of our entertained state when the sound of howls close by broke through the forest and I could feel him pick up his pace dragging me along. After a while my legs and arms started to burn from the trees leaving little cuts on them almost like they were trying to grab me to stop me from going forward, the muscles in my legs started to feel like jelly. "Can we please stop Sir?" I finally pant out feeling like I was about to collapse. We come up to a patch of thick trees we weave in and out of them he must know the wolves can't get through these, I wonder where were going? Just as the thought passes through we enter a small clearing its bright almost like the sun's already out that's when I notice the candles in glass jars it's so pretty here so comfy. "Where are we going?" I ask slowly. "You shall see soon dear Alice, I'm sorry I can't say more" he says with a soft smile, deciding to accept it and not push it he interrupts my thoughts suddenly. "Ah, but I can however finally introduce myself we seem to have a bit of time" he says while he clears his throat. "I am The White Rabbit but everyone just calls me Rabbit" he says with bright smile while bowing. "Are your ears and tail real?" I ask shyly feeling the heat from the blush that has graced my cheeks; he simply chuckles while pulling out a pocket watch. Realization hits me, the pocket watch from my memory he's the one who gave me the rabbit that' the pocket watch! He knows me! "Your pocket watch, you’re the man who-" I start to say but get cut off. "Were late, were late, for a very important date dear Alice!" He exclaims as he grabs me once again.

We keep running until we come to a slightly scary part of the forest and I know we are now in the heart of it, it's darker here and there are vines and moss hanging from the trees. He slows down to a walk still never letting go of my hand we come to a spot where the vines are thick and intimidating looking. He pushes the vines aside and says "After you dear Alice." I slowly walk through and see a few flowers scattered around a giant black hole in the ground, it seems lighter in here as well but looking around I don't see any candles. Confused as to why we’re here I turn to ask him, but before I even get the chance he jumps down the hole. "Rabbit!" I yell worried, running to the hole I get down and try to see down the blackness hoping to see him. "Rabbit, hello? Are you oka-" I get cut off when my hand slips and I find myself falling into the blackness...

Why did he bring us here?
