Vampires didn't need to sleep as much as human did, but this was the first time Haneul slept so deeply and so peacefully. The only reason she woke up because she didn't want to waste time sleeping, and missing the chance of looking at her man as much as she could. Haneul woke up before Taekwoon, smiled as soon as she opened her eyes and found out that she didn't move at all from her previous position, inside of his embrace.

Haneul tried not to move much, as long as she could look at his face, she was satisfied by didn't do anything. But she realized that Taekwoon's facial expression was uneasy. It seemed that he got a bad dream, a nightmare maybe. He was sweating a lot, and started to move even though he was still sleeping. Seeing that, Haneul quickly sat up and tried to wake him up. Gentle taps from Haneul didn't work, and she had to shake his body quiet harsh. Even that still took some time for Taekwoon to be woken up completely. He looked around, then at Haneul, but his eyes seemed confused for a while, before he sighed.

"Nightmare?" She was still worried, because Taekwoon didn't say anything at all. He just there, staring at the ceiling as if he was thinking about something.

"I wouldn't call that a nightmare," He replied, still didn't look at Haneul but he held her hand that was on his chest.

"Then what is it?"

"A memory."

She didn't say anything as the reply, and Taekwoon fell silent as well. He caressed her hand for a while, then glanced at her. Before even he opened his mouth to ask, Haneul already knew what was inside his mind. It's a lie if she said she didn't have a clue since days ago, even she already had her own suspicion a while after they met for the first time.

Taekwoon shifted his body so that he could look at her more closely. Seeing the look on his eyes, Haneul automatically reached out for his cheek, caressing it with her fingers before she leaned to kiss him. Their kiss was short, but sweet and meaningful. They both knew what they're going to discuss, and they both also weren't sure that they would enjoy it.

"Haneul..." Taekwoon placed a kiss on her wrist. "Haneul, do you know someone with the name Yongsun?"

The sound of that name was enough to stir complicated feeling inside Haneul. A name that would be forever had a place inside her heart, her memory. For a while, Haneul had to sort out things that she would tell him; from where she should start, and how she would tell him that before Taekwoon, she loved another person.

"Ahn Yongsun, was the man I loved years ago." Haneul couldn't look at him, not until she finished the story or she couldn't tell it to him. "He was the first human that was close to me. I owed him a lot, but I killed him..."

Even in another hundreds of year, she couldn't get over it. Haneul met Yongsun around 300 years ago, the first human she ever held dear, the first person ever she ever truly loved. He was a lord of some town, but he was sick and could barely move from his bed and room. She met him when she was hunting near his mansion. Chased by the hunters, Haneul had no choice other than hiding on his room, which the windows were opened that time. Like Taekwoon, Yongsun also was not like any other human. They met again and again until finally they both fell in love.

Everything was perfect until that happened.

Due to her feeling towards Yongsun, Haneul started to refuse any kind of blood. She didn't want to drink blood, and ended up spent her time with him instead of hunting. But her body needed time and process to adjust with that. It was a painful process, and one day Haneul was suffering from it. Her body rejected her decision to never drink blood again, and one time she accidentally drank blood from him.

He was already weak, and Haneul made it even worse.

She avoided Yongsun the next day, but couldn't stay long like that. The day after, she visited him again, only to found out that Yongsun already took his final breath. His condition got really worse and died before Haneul could see him again. Blaming herself for his death, for taking his blood and made his condition worse, Haneul vowed to never drink blood again.
