A night without proper treatment was not enough for Taekwoon to recover completely. His energy mostly back, but the wound on his left arm still on a bad condition. It didn't bleed any longer, but since he didn't go to see any doctor, it didn't get any better as well. He only treated it by himself, with his limited knowledge, all because Taekwoon refused to leave his house. He barely had the energy, and he didn't want to ask for anyone's help because that means he would have to answer their questions. There was also the problem with Saekyoung and Wonsik.
Knowing his best friends, they wouldn't stop just like that.
But he didn't worry to much about that, since his mind was filled with her. Is she alright? What her father would do to her? Taekwoon couldn't help but to worry more about Haneul than his own condition.
At the third night after he managed to get back to his house, his energy already back and his wound got better a bit, even though he still refused to see anyone. Seeing that he's already good to go, Taekwoon readied his weapon; bringing his silver daggers and made sure his guns are fully loaded by the silver bullets.
He already vowed, that he would get rid of anyone who tried to separate him from Haneul. Taekwoon already said that to his own best friend, some vampires wouldn't be a problem at all.
"You're really going to her?"
Taekwoon was locking his door when he heard Saekyoung's voice. She and Wonsik were standing not far from his front door, looking at him both in worry and anger.
"Stand back, Saekyoung." Hissed Taekwoon while he walked pass her. The female hunter didn't stop him or even do anything. She didn't even look at him anymore, but her voice was loud enough for Taekwoon to hear, and made him stopped walking.
"If you keep going, I have to report this to our supervisor and the organization."
And Taekwoon knew what it meant. He could become the fugitive of the organization, or they would send people to kill Haneul since they probably believed that Taekwoon was under her charm, while he knew well that he wasn't under any spells or charms. Haneul could kill him a lot of time already, she could take some information about the organization and Taekwoon would give it to her. But she didn't, she only saw him as Jung Taekwoon, not as a hunter, not as her enemy.
"Do as you wish. You know the consequences."
After saying that, Taekwoon continued his steps, ignoring Saekyoung and Wonsik's protests. With his condition, it took longer to get to the very same spot he left her. It was dangerous enough, thinking the possibility the king of vampire would put some of his men to watch if he came back or not. But Taekwoon didn't care any longer, he wanted to meet her.
Every steps he took somehow felt heavy, but if he didn't take it, it hurts. Heavy, because he knew what would happen if he did this, heavy consequences for him and Haneul. But it also hurt, because if he didn't take it, he couldn't see her again, and he couldn't bear that fact.
A sudden attack from his left side surprised him. Taekwoon wasn't fast enough to completely defend himself, and so he was thrown to the side with another wound on his left hand. Great, just great. Groaned from the pain, he quickly rose up and pulled his dagger. The vampire who attacked him didn't look that strong, at least Taekwoon knew that he's not a high-ranking vampire. This should be easy
But the noises from the bushes around him told another thing. Soon, five other vampires showed up, standing around him, surrounded him completely. It seemed that his prediction was right, and he's not happy about it.
This time, Saekyoung and Wonsik wouldn't be there to help him. Even though they all were low-ranking, with Taekwoon's condition and the fact they outnumbered him, this battle would be a risky one.
