He must be really crazy by doing this.
Jung Taekwoon couldn't believe his own decision of coming once again to the very spot he saw her. He risked his own life by doing this, and there was no guarantee that female vampire would show up before him. And yet he still did it, standing there staring to the trees in front of him. At least Taekwoon wasn't so stupid to let down his guard. His silver dagger was ready on his hand, in case that the vampire that showed up was not the one he wanted to see.
Is it weird that he actually prayed so he could meet her again?
A gentle breeze came, and with that as well a figure approached him. It was her, the female vampire. Her dress was blue this time, with a white scarf as a complement, but everything else was just the same as he remembered. Taekwoon could see that she was surprised and annoyed at the same time, thing that made him somehow happy.
"I told you not to come near here again."
His trainer before, told him that he should never listen to a vampire voice. Their voice could lure human, charmed them and with that tricked human and hunters to be their prey. Taekwoon knew that, and he always be careful with his enemies. But this time, he wanted to hear her voice. As alluring as any vampire's voices he ever heard, hers was the deathliest.
Maybe it's because she's a noble of vampire, or so he deduced.
"I got lost in thought when I was wandering around."
"That was a weak excuse, Sir Hunter."
Taekwoon couldn't help himself but smiling towards her. But then her gesture changed, as if something happened and only she noticed it. In the next second, she run towards him. The first thing he thought was that he screwed up, and had the wrong thought of this vampire. You can never trust a vampire, in any way. He raised his dagger on defensive position, readied himself for any kind of attack.
But instead an attack, she grabbed his wrist and pulled him into a run. Bewildered by her action, Taekwoon found himself ran with her. It took time when he finally could find his voice again, that was taken away because of his shock.
"What are you doing?!"
"Just come with me." That was the only replied he got for a while. The both stopped somewhere in the middle of the forest, and she pushed him into thick bushes. It wasn't comfortable at all, and he still didn't know the meaning of her action. The vampire even took her scarf and shoving it into him.
"Wha—"
"Hold this and be quiet, if you want to live."
That was not a threat, Taekwoon would recognize a threat when he hears it. There's no hate in her voice, instead, she sounded like she's worried about something. So, he decided to trust her this time, and did like what she told him to do. The hunter didn't make any sound, he didn't move and just clutched into her scarf and his dagger. He's not stupid enough to put his weapon away.
"Princess."
A man voice could be heard clearly. Taekwoon couldn't see anything because the lady stood between him and that voice's owner. He was sure that man was vampire, and how he greeted her revealed who she was. He was sure that she's a noble, but he never thought that she would be the princess herself.
"We thought we sensed a human's smell coming from this direction," The man continued. "But we lost the smell just a while ago, did you see anyone, Your Highness?"
Just now Taekwoon understood why she pushed him into bushes, forcing him to hide and even gave him her scarf. She hided him, and once again saved his life. Based on their words, it wasn't just one vampire in front of her right now. He read about how vampire smells before, and even though he couldn't smell anything particular from her scarf, Taekwoon knew that her smell covered him, so the others wouldn't find him here.
