Chapter 6: The last song

Yūrei looks towards his open door after he finished Comatose by Skillet from the 21 century on Earth. At the door a short brunette girl with milk white eyes stands within the doorway. "H-hey Yūrei-kun, I got Autumn's and Lucas's message about the band being up for the night again." "Yeah, got an invitation from the Black Lily. So want to join Nora" Yūrei ask as she nods with a smile on her face. Nora Hyūga, daughter of Hizashi Hyūga and younger sister of Neji Hyūga, Hizashi was twin of the clans leader Hiashi Hyūga, before their was an accident when their father passed away due to internal clan affaires.

Nora walks in and heads to the spare room where he kept her drums that her family wouldn't let her keep. "Y-you kept them?" She ask as she looks at him as he followed her to the room "Yeah, didn't seem right to sell them away just yet." She smiles as she walk in to them and sits on the seat and slowly plays a solo.

After her solo a knock is heard followed by the door opening. "Hey, Yūrei! Were here and ready to rock!" A familiar shout is heard followed by a strum of a guitar. "Lucas is here, and with Autumn no doubt. You heard their dating?" Nora tells Yūrei and he shakes his head at the news. His luck was lost if that's true, the girl he fell for was taken.

The door to the room opens as a teen with shoulder length black hair, light pale skin and red eye, wearing all black, walks in holding a guitar and followed by a girl shorter than him with chocolate brown eyes, light tan skin and red hair, wearing a white blouse and blue jeans. "Hey Nora, Yūrei. Good to see you both again." Autumn greets them happily but soon slaps Lucas who was looking at Yūrei with a scowl. "Ow, what was that for?" "The look you had. "What look?" "Don't start with the clueless act Lucas." Lucas pouts looking away as Nora giggles at their attitude.

"Well, let's get some songs practiced and head over after were done." Nora comments as Yūrei hand everyone a copy of the list. They all soon get started and begins again like they had done all those months ago when they were together.

Once the clock struck 3:30 they packed up their instruments and left Yūrei's house and headed off towards the Black Lily. Once they made it there they went in from the back and headed towards the stage where Autumn say a piano where she sat down. A man walks over towards them as they were setting up. "Excuse me? Are you the requested bad that was asked to perform?" Yūrei gets up as he looks at the big boned man. "Yes, we are. How can I help you?" He smiles happily and nods. "I'm Choza Akamichi, Owner or Black Lily and head of the Akamichi Clan, I thank you for coming, my son and the other clan heirs have told use great thing of all you." "Thank you, Akamichi-Sama." Yūrei says bowing to Choza "What song will you be starting with, if I may be curious." He asks as Lucas stands. "Were letting the lead singer decide. I'm hoping for Rise." "One More Night!" "Alone" Autumn shouts and is shortly followed by Nora. "Well, we'll do all but first will be a secret, they'll be told soon." Choza nods and walks off stage as shouts are heard on the other side of the curtains.

Nora walks over to Yūrei as he walks back over. "So what are we doing?" Yūrei smiles as the others walk over. "Rise" Lucas grins like a madman as his smile nearly splits from ear to ear, Autumn smirks. "Oh, Lucy has a part from the start." She teases her boyfriend as the walk towards the piano where they will be. Nora looks down before sighing. "Umm, Y-Yūrei-kun." Yūrei turns to her and as she looks up at him blushing. "Yeah, Nora?" Before anything else could happen Nora leans up and kisses him softly. "Let's rock." She says happily before running over to her drums.

Soon he smiles and walks over to his mic and Hiet. He looks towards Lucas and Autumn as they nod signaling their ready and looks to Nora as he nods. The curtains open slowly, the threshold between performer and audience open. Their were different tables for clan heads, heir's and welcomed guest from civilian, military and clan. Yūrei grins as Lucas starts playing.

As Yūrei finishes in the background, voices are heard with individual sound effects.

[phone rings]

[Operator:] 911?
[Woman:] There's a guy here with a gun!
[Operator:] Ma'am? Ma'am?
[Woman:] Kids, get under the table! Kids get under the table!!!

[News reporter:] We are getting new reports from all around the globe, showing the highest unemployment rates since the end of World War II. Many are losing their jobs, their homes, and in many cases, their hope.

[Dispatch:] [static police call] Domestic Disturbance in progress [more static]

[Upset parent:] You are such a failure! What is wrong with you? You're worthless! You can't do anything right! I wish you had never been born!

They soon finish as the Inuzaka table howls in delight as their song was first but soon tone down as another begins, slower unlike the first.

Two hour later with a single break, they finish their final song of the night. Letting the audience in an uproar of applause as the curtain close.

Yūrei stretches as he cracks his back. "Man, that was fun. Better than I thought." "Hell yeah, you see those Inuzaka's after the first song? They loved use!" "You got that right Lucy. Let's pack up and head to the lobby." They all begin to pack and Yūrei helps Nora with her drums.

"Thanks for the help Yūrei-Kun." "Your welcome." He says with a smile but that soon fades as the ground shakes and the lights turn off. "Yūrei! Nora! Outside quickly!" Lucas's voice can be heard as a light shines from his direction. They both get up and runs to the back door they had came from but up a staircase to the roof.

They all pant for air as the shaking stops but returns stronger. "Oh god." Lucas says with a cracked and terrified tone. "Guys, is that what I think it is?" They all look up and eyes grow as the girls grab the closest boy to them. Outside the dome in the vacuum of space, a massive star is seen, slowly being swallowed by a black hole that covered their entire sky.

HALT! I place a cliffhanger here. Now you shall wait for the next story, which I shall do everything I can to make it long, because it will be where the true story dimension will be at, might have it at the next chapter, I'll take any advice in order to better my stories from you viewers and please try to get others to read if it interests them and you.
