Chapter 8: Death and Rebirth

I'll be adding a new story in Naruto and dropping a few stories that hadn't gotten anywhere, but I'll work on them from time to time. On with the story.

"Thanks for the help Yūrei-Kun." "Your welcome." He says with a smile but that soon fades as the ground shakes and the lights turn off. "Yūrei! Nora! Outside quickly!" Lucas's voice can be heard as a light shines from his direction. They both get up and runs to the back door they had came from but up a staircase to the roof.

They all pant for air as the shaking stops but returns stronger. "Oh god." Lucas says with a cracked and terrified tone. "Guys, is that what I think it is?" They all look up and eyes grow as the girls grab the closest boy to them. Outside the dome in the vacuum of space, a massive star is seen, slowly being swallowed by a black hole that covered their entire sky.

All around, people begin to run towards the docks where the colony ship sits, all expect Yūrei who simply stands there and watches as the Arks nose points towards it. Lucas, Autumn and Nora turns to run before Nora looks back seeing Yūrei standing there, staring at the black hole.

"Yūrei-Kun, come on!" Nora shouts, grabbing Lucas's attention, making him run back. "Yūrei, come on, we need to get to the dock!" He grabs his shoulder and he looks at him. "You go, I'll stay, and embrace Death as an old friend."

Autumn march's over fuming in anger and slaps him loudly, shocking him out of his trans. "Don't gives us that bullshit, now lets go be-" before she could finish her argument the Ark shakes again and everyone looks out towards the front, where a breach opens up and the Ark enters through it.

As they entered through it, lights flash as the traveled through the tunnel (The Brain Hack by dust, 17:18 on YouTube) as they watched Yūrei was more focussed on it, while Nora buried her face into his chest and Autumn to Lucas.

At the end when the Ark slowed and left the tunnel, Yūrei feels a throbbing pain travel from his eyes and into his brain before he fell onto his back and slowly slips into unconscious. "YŪREI-KUN!" Nora shouts in fear as Lucas and Autumn rushes to help. "NO NO NO!" Nora begins to cry holding his hand.

Lucas places two of his fingers against Yūreis' neck and checks for his pulse, the light and faint thump, thump of his blood traveling through his vein's "He has a faint pulse, we need to get him to a hospital." Lucas says as Autumn gently pulls a crying Nora from Yūrei for Lucas to pick him up and hurries down the stairs, shouting for help "Somebody get an EMT!" Making his was around to the dining room, several clan healers from different clan rush over and starts helping, pulling Yūrei from his hands and rush outside to one of their vehicles.

While they were guided to another to follow them to a clan hospital, within the Inuzaka Compound.

Yūrei was gently pulled out and placed on a stretcher before he was rushed into the building, with the three close behind.

3 years later

It had been three years since the encounter of the Collector ship, and from what scientists from all Dome could gather, these collectors were inter dimensional and time entities who collected data from dying world and civilization since the beginning of time and space.

In their search they found technology to which they integrated into their own but before they could repair and upgrade their slipspace drive, a team stumbled upon a species from what was dubbed 'Halo Timeline' known as 'The Flood'.

As one of the members of the team didn't know what it was opened it. One member recalled what it was and tried to warn him, but was too late. They had released The Flood.

Within a medical facility on the Collector ship, close to the docks and a data drive, one colony patient gasped and bolted up right. Yuri had awaken, after being in a coma for three years.

Looking around frantic of where he was he grabbed his head and roared in pain and agony as memories not of his own flowed in, different from each other, but all were hazy on what was occurring in them.

After several minutes of pain he panted from the pain and slowly got up from the bed but stumbled out of it.

"Nurse!" He shouted but no one came to his aid. Slowly he got to his knees and grabbed a trolley nearby and started pushing forward before he shortly was able to walk.

Aimlessly walking around he soon found the nearby data drive unit and carefully went through it before he heard an inhuman roar and a female voice echo through the corridor.

"Purge of foreign bodies in 30 minutes."

Yūrei looked around quickly and went back to the drive and searched for a map. Finally finding one to the nearest dock and ran, unaware of something following him.

"One minute until full purge" the voice announced as he finally reached a nearby sphere pod suspended in the air with cabled glowing towards it and was about to get into it, but stopped as he was looking down at it and coughed up a large amount of blood into the sphere.

He looked down as pain shot through his chest and a spike of green organic substance was pressing out of him.

The sphere closed before him or it could get in. The cables detached and it hummed before it shot out of the hanged and into dark space. Designation unknown.

"Purge in three, two, one." As the countdown ended white mist enveloped everything within the ship that weren't within containment cells or pods. Yūrei felt his entire body pull apart from the vary atom that held him as on, and his mind into the void.

Break

Once the purge was completed the halls were once again empty as it had been three years ago. The Ark was then released from the Collector and it began to fade away into the fabric between time and space.

As the Collector disappeared, the Ark was consumed within a artificial black hole created by a bomb a they had brought aboard and hit the detonation button, but if that hadn't occurred, the Ark would have been assimilated from a flood spore that had been attached to the bomb.

Break

In a Galaxy far far away. We, just one galaxy from the collector ship. The sphere had traveled across the dark space for nearly a year before finally reaching a galaxy and going into a slipspace wake that launched it towards a planet, full of desert.

The sphere had crashed outside a settlement but amongst all the people one lone female carrying a child happened across it first.

"I don't know Ani. Lets check it out." She said to her 1 1/2 year old son Anakin. This was Shmi a recently freed slave from a moisture farm.

As they approached they heard the cries of a child and in a hurry she tried to open the sphere but couldn't find a door. Seconds later a hiss was heard and the sphere opened showing a small human baby, stark pale and naked.

"Ani, mama needs to use your blanket." He nodded and gave it to here and in a hurry she wrapped him in the blanket and picked it up.

Anakin looked at him before smiling.

"Yes, Ani. Yūrei is your new baby brother. His name means ghost. Anakin looked in curiosity.

"I don't know it just fits." She said walking away with Anakin following her. Unbeknownst to them, the sphere disappeared into hardlight energy after a blue female had appeared on the surface of the sphere.
