I wouldn't say I have an "accent" but I have noticed that I say things I bit differently than most Americans would.. So yeah, let's jump into some of Missouri's accent and slang!

Milk - melk
I normally pronounce it with an "i" but sometimes Im just too lazy to do so so it comes out "melk"

Caramel - kar-a-mull
Yep, just what a normal American says..

Z - zee
Another thing most Americans say. We don't say "zed" here.

Aunt - ant
I'm sorry.

Route - r-ow-te
I hate when people say "root"

Salmon - sam-en
Yep.

Crayon - crah-on
...

New Orleans - New Orlenz
I know people from Louisiana get shook about this but I'm sorry... It's a habit?

Mayonnaise - man-aise
I'm sorry again.

Lawyer - loy-yer
Is there another way to say this?

Coupon - kue-pon
An easy way to trigger me is to say "koo-pon"

Wash - wosh
I don't say "warsh"

Syrup - seer-up
And I don't say "sur-up"

~Onto Slang and Phrases~
"Busch" - a type of beer

"Budlight" - another type of beer

"Coke" - Coca-Cola

"Getting it on" - fucking

"Booking it" - getting the fuck outta somewhere
Ex. "And so I was, like, booking it outta there!"

"Gas is on the right!" - means exactly what it says. People say it when someone is driving slow.

"I've got to pee like a race horse!" - I don't really know.. My mom says it but she's from Kansas so maybe that's a thing there?

"Just an fyi," - another thing my mom says thinking she's super hip but in reality she's saying "just an for your information"

That's all folks!
