Third Mission

Previously on The Girl Member:

  'Okay, who told?' Hoshi demanded. Everyone looked around and I played innocent. Yugyeom was right, this was hard to hide it. We kept silent until I decided to speak up. 'I saw Vernon on the phone a lot.' I lied and he tried to defend himself before passing it to someone else. This turned into a very intense game of Mafia. I was laughing so hard inside and I needed to tell the truth... but how? 

Now continuing 

As the accusations got louder and louder, it was getting harder and harder to not burst out laughing my ass off as Hoshi sees me turning red from biting my laughter back.

"Was it you? Eunyoung?" he questions as everyone's eyes goes on me as I look at them and stand up slowly, looking at everyone before bolting out of the room like the flash.

"YUP!" I shouted as the three leaders roar with anger as I feel them on my heels as I turn the corner to only bump into S.Coups and I say a silent prayer as he carries me back to the group who look at me with a smirk.

"What? I just saved our butts from cleaning for a whole promotion." 

THE NEXT DAY

We decided to embrace this sun and instead of cooping ourselves up inside the studio, practicing for our next mission which is to perform a song from the random dance play mission and a song from one of our seniors.

Holding a meeting, we decided to use After School's "Bang" after Seungkwan suggested we use one of our labelmate's songs and we all agreed "Bang" would be good song and all we needed to is to remake the choreography and re-arrange the song to suit us.

That's what I spent my entire night doing with Woozi and we got Vernon to say some of the parts since his voice really suited the re-arranged song of "Bang".

We also decided to use "Dangerous" and that leads Dino and Hoshi to make an upgraded version of the dance to show how far we've improved.

BUT! FORGET THAT, WE'RE PLAYING FIRST!

I decided I didn't want to play Basketball so I sat out with The8 who was last one left and we cheered them on as we placed imaginary bets on which team will win and we both choose Vernon's team.

Afterwards, we went to go hug a dog and talked to Super Junior M's Henry who we ran into earlier while discussing about our next mission who was in the midst of exercising. 

Then, we just engaged ourselves into rehearsal, learning both sets of choreography and didn't sleep much until we got back to the dorm at around 4 in the morning that is when I just passed out on the mattress.

DAY SKIP

It was time to perform at the mysterious school and as we traveled to the school, it was revealed this was all SEUNGKWAN'S IDEA!

"Everyone, it's Seoul Broadcasting High School!" he announced, clapping.

The school where Seungkwan, Dino and Mingyu used to attend while we were still young ducklings and practicing for our big debut one day.

From there, we discussed who the judges would be and PD-Nim announced there would be 2 special guest judges coming along as well to watch us perform to the school as we had arrived at the school.

The first thing was to announce it and we made our way to the announcement room as Seungkwan wanted to do it and one of the students showed him how to make an announcement as he stared at the equipment blankly.

Eventually, he figured it out and we did one last short run-through of the performance we had spent countless hours to ensure it wasn't like the first episode inside a small practice room before being guided to the stage.

Okay, showtime.

AFTER PERFORMANCE

I felt like we did well and performed our best. 

As the students exited, they had to place a sticker on a board saying whether they thought we performed well or not, that was the nerve-wracking part as their votes counted towards whether we debuted or not.

The judges came onto the stage; Ailee and After School's leader, Jungah, were our guest judges as we bowed to them.

It seemed as Woozi and Ailee knew each other previously and joked a little bit on stage as I watched Woozi semi-calm down before they started pointing out everything they liked and disliked in the performance.

Jungah  pointed out a simple mistake made by S.Coups when we forgot a part of the choreography and told him the mistake looked too obvious, he needed to secretly look around at us and then join back in.

Otherwise, they said it was one of our best performances yet and we looked at what the students thought of our performance after the judges pointed out it was split into boys and girls.

Most of them enjoyed it with some on the line, which gave us strength.

TIME SKIPPING

We were called into the very room we got our rings taken away from us as PD-Nim walked in this time instead of a disappointed CEO which relived us slightly until he told us why we were called here in the first place.

"The next mission is a collaboration mission." he announced as we all felt even more pressure weigh on us as the teams were already pre-selected but as the teams appeared, I saw I wasn't in any of them.

What's going on?
