SEVENTEEN's First Win

FEW MONTHS LATER

Even though, I wasn't partaking in the 'Pretty U' comeback, I still wanted to go out to 'Show Champion' to support them and walked into the dressing room holding some Korean BBQ along with our favorite snacks.

"OPPAS! I brought you some food!" I smiled, placing it all down on the small coffee table and gave each of them a tight hug, trying to ease their nerves as they were up for No.1 and I was really hoping for them to win.

"Aren't you supposed to be promoting, Elyse?" questioned The8 as I shook my head
"I asked for the day off to come down and support you boys. I want to here for your, hopefully, first win! I wasn't going to miss it for the world!" I explained, peeling off my face mask and collapsing on the sofa.

I had heavily promoted 'Pretty U' on the V-Lives we did and through the numerous promotions we did for 'Very, very, very' and made sure fans were aware of Seventeen being up for No.1, hoping for a miracle.

They were called up onto  stage as I stood on the wings backstage and watched them perform 'Pretty U', grooving along to it with Manager-Doogi who gave me a side-hug before BSS decided to pull me on stage at the end which started me. 

I looked around nervously and smiled, "You are pretty." I sang, doing the signature gesture with the tap to each cheek and a peace sign before Vernon and S.Coups came for the ending rap as I went back to the couch and sat down.

AFTER PERFORMANCE

"Good luck guys!" I say, trying to calm down the nerves as they were ushered onto the stage but Hoshi pulled me on last minute placing me in between him and Jun as I felt the nerves back when IOI got their first win.

Shin-young held the trophy as I prayed, "Congratulations!" and, I heard 'Pretty U' play and start crying again, holding onto Jun who just smiled, trying to comfort me as Woozi, Hoshi and Seungkwan were all crying as well.

"Ah, Elyse has won with both IOI and Seventeen!" I just nod, so proud of the boys and gave everyone a tight hug before latching onto Dino, refusing to part until S.Coups handed me the microphone and I take a deep breath before speaking.

"We finally have our first win, it might not be as a full group but thank you to all the fans who have supported Seventeen. Thank you so much, I love you! Please support both groups!" I bow, continuously heading back to the comfort of Dino's arms.

Hoshi was having a hard time trying to speak, Woozi was full-on crying and the leaders were struggling to hold it together so The8 did a speech in Chinese and Vernon did one in English to all the international fans.

As the encore started, I was still crying, not being able to comprehend everything that just happened. I was so happy for them, MAMAMOO came up to congratulate me as I bowed to them before they brought me into a hug.

All we could do is bow to the fans, thanking them for their support and we exited the stage, "CONGRATULATIONS SEVENTEEN!" the staff had prepared a meal using the food I brought and some extra bits as we still were crying. 

IOI called me, "CONGRATULATIONS MAKNAE!" they all shouted, my smile breaking my face as I thanked them and they promised to treat me when I got back to the dorm since Manager-Doogi would drop me off first.

"Come! Let's go to BBQ!" shouted Yoojung, dragging me back out of the dorm and to the nearest BBQ restaurant as we posed for a group picture together and posted it on our Instagram page, showing support to SEVENTEEN.
