Chapter 2: Posterrrrr

His dark brown eyes stare deeply into mine, entrancing me, drawing me in. Deeper and deeper, he gazes into the depths of my soul. His soft brown hair was ruffled slightly, giving off a bad boy feel.

Slowly, ever so slowly, he faded. Just like my ambitions, just like my friends, just like my family. Just like my life.

I desperately tried to call out for him, to beg him to stay with me, unlike the others. But.......

He was gone.......

A loud noise brings me from my dream, awakening me from my daydream and back into my depressing present. I glance around myself, realizing that I must have fallen asleep during class.

Which is now over.

I quickly grab my stuff and wait in my seat for everyone to leave so as to not draw attention to myself. Just as I do everyday. Students line up at the door, waiting for the teacher to get to it, as I continue to stare at the suddenly very interesting curves and grooves of my desk.

I hurried along the hallway, rushing for my next class: art. A class that I had to get changed into because I couldn't do drama.

That would require confidence.

Glancing at my schedule, I see that I was indeed correct on the classroom number and head towards it with minor self-assurance. On my way, I walk past the hallway. 

The hallway I met him.

On it is a poster stating, in large letters, CONFIDENCE CERTAINTY & COURAGE CLUB, with the date and meeting place written clearly and simply. Seeing my next block is about to start, I quickly pull out my sharpie and write the information down, deciding to at least think about it.

Turning back around in the direction of my next block class, I accidentally see into the class beside me.

I could have sworn I saw a boy with soft brown eyes gazing happily in my direction. Almost, satisfactory.
