Max's POV
From the look on Aphmau and the guys' faces, I knew this guy had to be bad news. We quietly follow them outside; not only do Aphmau and the others notice we where following them, but we all also notice Emma talking to some guy outside. We all hide behind a big tree, and listen to their conversation. Finally, Sky speaks first.
Sky- Who's that?
Laurence- Gene, leader of the "Shadow Knights".
Laurence says with a tint of anger in his voice.
Me- What's a "Shadow Knight"?
Aphmau- His posse that runs around with him, skips school, spray paints things, and other things like that.
From the way Aphmau talked she also said it with anger in her voice.
Must be a big deal?
Sky- What's he want Emma for?
Garroth- Let' see; No friends around to protect her in classes, new girl, and she doesn't talk much. Ugh, I despise that dude.
I hate it when people think Emma is weak. She is way stronger than she looks.
I hold in what I want to scream at Garroth for the sake of not getting caught.
Laurence- How are we going to get Emma away from that freak?
Garroth- Sky and Max could go and talk to her and get her away. That is your names, right?
Sky and I nod our heads in response.
Garroth- We will be here to back you up if need us, and don't trust a word he says got it?
Sky and I nod our heads again, and head out into the open.
