Chapter 21: Singing Competition

Emma's POV

Announcer- Welcome back students! Today marks the day of our final competition! We will be holding the singing competition at 6:30 pm tonight! Now, I am going to list off the two winners of our last competition, if your name is called please come to my office and claim your prize! The winners are.... Vlyad Ro'Meave with his beautiful beach drawing, and the next winner is... Max (add a last name if you want) with his weird skeleton and human video game drawing! I hope you all have a great school day!

Oh dear god, the singing thing is tonight!? Ugh... someone kill me...

Time skip: Lunch

Lunch finally arrives and I meet my friends' at our table.

Barney- Yos, Emmas yous alrights?

Jessie- Yeah, you seem nervous.

Me- Um.. Well... Sasha convinced me to sign up for the singing competition.. I'm kind of nervous, I don't even know what to sing!

Max- Why don't you sing a song from your favorite band or something?

Me- Wow... Thanks Max you're so helpful....

Barney- Anysways, Ross Is saws Thundermuffins alones ons yours closeds ins patios. Whats ups withs that's?

Ross- Max made me put Thundermuffin outside.

Tori- Wow, Max how rude.

Max- The thing tried to friction kill me last night! What do you expect me to do?!

Everyone laughs then I spot Gene, Sasha, and Zenix.

Me- Hey guys, I'll catch up with you guys later. I'm going to chat with Gene for a bit!

Sasha's POV

Me- Wait Gene, are you serious?

Gene- Yeah...

Zenix- Oh, man dude! Are you sure you really want to go through with this?

Gene- Positive!

Me- Shhh, we'll finish this later. Here comes Emma!

Emma takes a seat next to me.

Emma- Sup?

Zenix- Nothing much, sup with you?

Me- Are you excited to sing tonight?

Emma- Not really... I'm kind of nervous and on top of that I don't even know what I want to sing. Do you guys have any ideas?

Gene- Hm... what kind of songs do you like? I mean what's your favorite band and artist?

Emma- Imagine Dragons or Walk The Moon, and Shawn Mendes or Ed Sheeran

Me- For Imagine Dragons I would say to sing Demons and for Shawn Mendes  probably sing There's Nothing Holding Me Back

Zenix- For Ed Sheeran go with Castle On The Hill

Gene- Sing Shut Up And Dance With Me for Walk The Moon

Emma- You do realize it's only one song, right?

Gene- Yup, but now you have four options to pick from.

Zenix- So, what do you plan to wear?

Emma- Dunno yet, still making up my mind.
