"Is he alright?"
Izuku's mom and Ochako stood outside Izuku's hospital room, looking at the doctor who had just stepped out of the door.
"Let's go somewhere to talk, okay?" The doctor motion to the two standing in the hall and started walking.
The three walked for 2 minutes in silence around the halls before the doctor spoke.
"I don't know if he's going to make it."
Izuku's mom gasped, putting a hand over her mouth before tears rolled down from her eyes.
Ochako stood frozen in shock, as the doctor spoke again.
"He's lost so much blood already, and with the doctors having to be careful to not further disrupt anything else inside his head, I'm afraid they can't work very fast. We've also done a full body scan, and it looks like some internal bleeding dangerously close to the lungs is happening. Most likely the car lost traction on the road, hit your son, and the person drove away."
"We're doing everything we can, but at this point I can't make any promises. I'm sorry."
With that, the doctor walked into the room next to them without a goodbye.
Izuku's mom collapsed on the floor and Ochako sat next to her, listening to the sobs.
'please be alright.' Ochako whispered
