"Izuku!"
She rushes into his arms and it's like the world stops as the flowers she held are tossed to the ground.
"I was so worried about you, and I thought I'd never see you again, and what if you died? I was so scared Izuku never do that again!" Ochako rambles on as she holds tightly onto Izuku, never wanting to let go. Izuku stands and holds her tightly back, shocked at this display of emotions coming from someone who was his whole world.
"Ochako I'm so sorry." He stutters. "I had no idea I was causing you this much pain, and my mom too. I just feel horrible."
"What are you sorry for Izuku? You've done nothing wrong! If anything it's my fault for everything that's happened. If you had just stayed at my house a little longer, or if I had walked you home maybe I could have seen the car. So I'm sorry Izuku, I really am."
Izuku is speechless as tears roll down his face. He can't imagine why Ochako was blaming herself. He was the one who got hit by the car, and he's the one causing everyone pain right now. If only that driver had saw him. If only whoever was behind that wheel had seen Izuku and swerved instead of hitting him.
His sadness turned to rage as he thought of the person in the car, unharmed, and probably at home unaffected right now.
He wanted revenge.
And with his new powers and All Might by his side, he was sure that this just might work.
"Ochako." He whispered to her as he slipped out of her tight grasp. "There's something I have to do. I'm going to run out now, please tell my mom I'll meet her at home for dinner."
"But Izuku, she says, you were just injured walking out in this weather alone, there's no way I can let you go alone."
"I'll be fine." He boldly assured her. "Don't worry about me."
And with that he had left, on his way to give whoever caused this what they deserved.
