Bey POV
Ladies night changed everything between us. Going out on a school night was actually pretty stupid. Rob woke me up at five-thirty to get ready for work. I almost took a swing at her when she poked me. Onika was still wrapped around me, just the way I wanted; one hand nestled between my legs.
"Mama, give her ten more minutes," Onika murmured.
"Okaaay. Don't be late sweetie," Robyn said, slipping out the door.
I sat up reluctantly and shifted to the edge of the bed. I spotted my tank top on Onika's desk.
"Where you going?" Onika asked. I looked over my shoulder to see Onika, with one eye open, gazing at me. "I got you for ten more minutes."
I lay back down so my face was level with her breasts. I couldn't resist sucking one of her delicious brown nipples into my mouth. "Nine and a half. You have a plan?" As I finished my sentence, Onika slowly rolled me on my back. She kissed her way down my body, explaining that she was interested in finding out just how many times she could make me come in nine minutes.
The answer was four.
The night and the first part of the morning had been everything I'd hoped for--well, for the most part. Onika had finally made love to me and she hadn't kicked me out afterward. She didn't open up to me all of a sudden or ask me if I wanted to "go steady", but things were still good in the morning and all the days leading up to Thanksgiving vacation. We didn't talk much, but we did spend a lot of time together. Time free of hostile tension.
Onika didn't exactly celebrate Thanksgiving, but since Lauren and I were both leaving town to spend time with our families, she went back to St. James to see her friends.
For the first time in my life I had no interest in going home to see my mom. I didn't want to think about being away from the girls, having to self-service for four days and the thought of not seeing Onika literally made my chest hurt.
We didn't talk or text, but when I landed at LAX, it was Onika who was waiting for me in baggage claim. I returned the subtle smirk she gave me and took her out stretched hand.
