Artemis's {P.O.V}
After all the hunters were healed and bandaged up for some of them, we made our way back to our camp.
Percy was bandaged and cleaned up. He still winced sometimess because of the pain, but other times he was fine.
We entered our campsite. We were all exhausted and hungry.
* * *
"We need to make dinner," I said. We were all collected around the dining table, that was in the tent this time. No one said a word.
I signed tiredly. "Someone has to go and hunt down some animals," I muttered, but I could tell everybody heard me.
Then Percy walked in the tent, he had to change clothes, because his were in blood.
"What's up?" he asked, he didn't seem tired at all from just walking for miles and from the fight with the Minotaur.
It kind of amazed me.
"We need food to live, Kelp Head," Thalia teased him. She also didn't look as tired as everyone else.
I looked at all of my hunters for a second to see some of them not even paying attention to what was happening as they just played with their forks, spoons or knifes.
Especially knifes.
The other hunters just stood at the sides of the tent and looked over at everybody while playing with their daggers or bows.
I just shook my head at them all. Although I had to admit that they all looked quite dangerous.
Percy sighed. "What do you want then?" he asked. The hunters all perked up at that question.
I turned my attention immediately back to the handsome son of Poseidon and I narrowed my eyes at him.
"No way, Percy, you can't go hunting down animals. You just killed the Minotaur on your own," I reminded him.
I didn't mention the wound because I knew he didn't want me to. He never wants people to worry for him.
"Who said I was going hunting again?" he said, smirking with a mischievous glint in his shining deep sea green eyes.
Everyone including myself had a very confused look on our faces, as we just stared at him quizzically.
He sighed. "Just trust me and say what you want," he told us while he crossed his arms over his chest.
"How about... we have a deer?" Phoebe said, although she still looked utterly confused.
"Okay, all of you sit down," Percy said. "And can not play with sharp things?" He looked specifically at some hunters who were playing with daggers.
We then sat as Percy said to do after some grumbling. He walked up next to the chair at the other end of the table opposite me.
Everyone looked at him completely confused,
again, but with a bit of curiosity.He snapped his fingers and on the dark coloured wooden table appeared a perfectly looking prepared deer.
There was also a lot of extra stuff, like; salads, mashed potatoes, juice and some herbs like salt and pepper.
We all stared at Percy with opened mouths, including me as we then looked at the food and back at him.
I was then confused. How? He just... Hestia's blessing, how in the name of my fathers underpants did I forget that? I mentally face palmed.
"How did you...?" Atlanta trailed off. She looked as shocked as everyone else apart from me, as I mentally scolded myself for not figuring it out earlier.
