Percy's {P.O.V}

Right after Artemis thanked me for taking her back to camp, when I found her after the curse, I couldn't help but relive the memories of the start of the curse.

~ Flashback ~

I ran through the streets of New York, as the sun was coming down and the day was slowly turning into night.

Lets just say that it surprised me, when I found out that Apollo was actually doing his sun duties for once, instead of chasing after a girl.

I got that knowledge from one of the minor gods at Olympus before I left. I was also told that Apollo acted very serious and stern.

I wonder why? My old self thought sarcastically.

I looked at the list in my hand. Right, I had to find the original six gods first, minus Hades. So Zeus, Poseidon, Hera, Demeter and Hestia.

Hades was currently in the underworld checking out the problem that he informed me about.

He apparently found two souls missing from his domain. One of them used to be in Elysium and the other went for re-birth. He swore though that he had no idea who they were.

I suddenly halted in place, as I saw someone that made me smile in relief a bit. The first goddess I could cross off the list; Hera.

I could tell it was her, because she looked exactly like she did when she flashed out of the Throne room.

The bad thing was; she was flirting with a man.

The goddess of Marriages and Family was flirting with a man. She was normally faithful to Zeus. Not that I blamed her if she cheated on my uncle.

I had to stop this real quick. I ran towards her. My hair flew in all directions due to the wind.

It was cold, and the wind was actually quite strong, but the sky only had a couple of clouds, and it didn't look like it was going to rain anytime soon.

But my uncle can change that anytime. I sighed, as I neared Hera.

She was wearing skinny dark blue jeans, a white blouse with a red jacket over it, and black high heel shoes.

Her dark brown hair was down, and it cascaded over her shoulders in curled locks. She had a bit of makeup on her face, along with massive round earrings.

When I reached her, she quickly looked away from the man, and at me as she smiled widely. "Hello, my dear nephew. What can I do for you?"

I blinked twice at her. "Lady Hera..."

"Oh, it's just Hera, or aunt Hera for you, dear," he corrected. "You don't need to call me 'Lady Hera'."

I blinked twice this time. "Okay... aunt Hera?" She nodded. "Do you have any idea where my father, uncle Zeus, or my other aunties might be?"

Hera shrugged. "Nope," she said. "And I don't really care, although, Zeus might probably be with some girl." She waved her hand as if she didn't care about that.

"Poseidon might be in his kingdom," she continued. "Demeter... she might be at some healthy food gathering, and Hestia might be on Olympus or... I don't know to be honest."

I sighed deeply. I then looked at the guy who she was flirting with, and I saw him glaring at me. He was standing about a couple of meters away from us.

I raised an eyebrow, and he just glared harder. I rolled my eyes. He didn't know that Hera was my aunt and I had no desire to change the relationship between us in any way.
