So today is job hunting day for me meaning that like in 15 minutes I should be ready to go and search for a job . My life is not a good one, I come from a poor background with only me earning for my family as my mama is ill. She has developed a disease which means a lot of treatment and for that I have to work extremely hard but alas every time you are in difficulty life seems to throw more problems at your face.
Waking up I went into the bathroom which is situated at the back of the house. We did not have a big house. It composed only of two rooms, one living room, a kitchen and a small bathroom. After finishing into the bathroom I went into my room and decided on wearing my only decent floral dress and an almost worn out converse on that. I don't have enough money to spend on myself every time I have money on me I should make a well use of that like in buying my mama's medicines and try to make my ends meet at the end of the day also I must be able to give my mama something to eat even if that means sacrificing my own meal just for her.
Taking all my printed resume and putting them into my bag I said goodbye to mama and left for the town. At around 9 o'clock I was already there, going to every place where I found that they are recruiting. I know maybe that I won't get accepted but I still try. What's the harm in trying.
It was almost noon and still no one has accepted me. I decided to head back home and try applying online. Arriving at home I saw my mom sleeping I think it as because of her medicines that she sleep so much but it is good she will not be stressed if she sleeps. I dropped my bag on my bed and went into the kitchen to prepare something to eat. A sandwich would be fine for mama and for me well let's sacrifice the meal again for her. Walking back into my room I took my phone and started job hunting again. After a while I end up giving my resume at two firms which one of them was for a receptionist. Hopefully I get accepted there and I'm sure I will have a sum of money in my hand at the end of the month.
