"Kai i have a date tonight" i said jumping behind him scaring him. "Jesus christ, you scared me but that's good" he said with his hand on his chest. I started to walk next to him."yah, be happy for me you already have jennie and she is the prettiest girl in school." i told him. He smiled "well you ended things with hansol, you guys were adorable why did you leave again?" he asked. I rolled my eyes "he was just too much, like another me" i said. He laughed. He wrapped his arm around me "let's go eat" he said pulling me harder. "Kai! Let go or i'm gonna punch you?" i said. He never let go and continued to walk. "Okay here we are" he said letting me go. "Hey mom" he said as he walked into the shop. Its one of the outdoor restaurants where they sell noodles, fish cakes and alcohol. His mom saw me walk in and quickly hugged me. "Hey sweetie" she said. I smiled "how are you" i asked. "Good, sit sit" she said. Kai and i sat down "i'll be right back" his mom said. "Don't you ever get tired to always come and take advantage of my mom?" kai asked. I grabbed the spoon and hit him in the head. "I love your mom and she loves me." i told him. He laughed. His mom came to our table and gave up our bowl of noodles and fish cakes on a stick. "I see you guys are still so close. I love it" kai and i nodded in response. "Now i'm just waiting for you two to date" he said kai and i both choked on our food. "Mom, come on i have jennie" he said. I smiled "he doesnt think im good enough" i said. Kai's mom hugged me "come on son" she said. I laughed "well i'll let you guys eat" she told us. "I love your mom" i told him. "Kai how did we become friends" i asked him. He put his spoon down "you really like hearing how we met don't you?" he asked me. I nodded "well we met in elementary, back in kindergarten. We both hated each other i would pull your hair and you would pinch me, but we both got close until 6th grade when something awkward happened. We both got picked for 7 minutes in heaven being the little kids we were nothing happened. I was too scared to kiss you but i asked you if it was okay if we told everyone we were eachothers first kiss. You nodded and we pinky promised. After that we got closer. Now here we are eating noodles in my mom restaurant. " he said. I smiled and continued to eat. As soon as we were done we walked out. "Well i think imma go i need to meet jennie" he said. "Same i still have to go to my date" i said "then why did you come with me i thought i was your date" he said. We both laughed "I'll call you later and tell you about it" i said. I kissed my two fingers and placed it on my heart and he placed two fingers on his heart. It's our little way to say goodbye. We walked to our houses -did you get home?- kai. I laughed to see his text so soon -yes kai- i send back. I got ready for my date but remembered kai also had a date with jennie -how about we do it a double date- i send. I never got an answer. A few minutes after sending the message i was almost done getting ready. "Mom i'll be leaving soon" i yelled from the top floor. "Okay sweetie don't be home late, imma get going your father will be late" she yelled back before closing the door. I grabbed my heels and a white purse. I looked at myself in the mirror and did a spin "perfect " i said dusting off the dress. I walked downstairs and to the living room. I turned the tv on "i'll get going in a few minutes" i said to myself. I saw on the news that the stocks on my father's company went up. I got out of the couch and walked to the door. Before i left i locked the door. "I guess heels was a bad idea" i said looking at the street, it was a long walk.
