Glory's POV
Later that day, it was night and I was laughing about the time Jane and her older brother got into a mud fight about who will eat the pie first. I never laughed so hard in my life until today.
"And then, mom told me and Jonah that we need to stop acting like children when we obviously are! Can you believe that?" She continued.
"Not really." I smiled, still gazing at her eyes.
"Well, that sucks." She smiled back, hiding her face. "Because I like you." She straight up admitted, placing a kiss on my lips. I kissed her back, causing us to be more in love with each other than before.
"Jane Alfonzo, I think I'm falling in with you." I blushed, putting my hands on her shoulders.
"And Gloriana Campos, I'm deeply in love with you." She grinned, kissing me again. I felt tears in my eyes when she said that because I thought about Seth when he said that to me the first time. My phone started ringing out of nowhere. I answered it and it was Skye.
"Hey, dude." I called into the speaker.
"What up, Buddy G!" He shouted. I'm guessing he's at some party in downtown. I thought, rolling my eyes.
"I'm currently in a relationship!" I exclaimed, getting his attention.
"It's obvious, man." He laughed.
"I mean, I'm with someone else that's not Seth." I explained how we argued to us not talking to each other and then breaking up.
"Jesus, I hope you're okay." He softened.
"I'm fine now." I smiled a bit, blinking tears from my eyes.
"That's good."
"Yup."
"So, what are you up to?"
"Hanging out with my girlfriend and talking to you."
"Cool. I'm at a party in downtown LA and it's wickedly awesome!"
"Okay...?" I wasn't sure what to say after that.
"But we're still cool, right?" He continued.
"Sure." I nodded.
"I have to go now. Talk to you later." He was about to end the call.
"See ya." I said, pressing the end call button.
Once the call ended, I saw Jane texting on her phone. Turns out it was her older brother Jonah and she was telling him to pick us up. For a second there, I thought it was for me but it wasn't.
My phone buzzed and I felt my heart pounding because of how it triggers my anxiety. Which speaking about it, I only get anxious when someone taps my shoulder or shouts my name and I literally get a jumpy feeling. Plus, it only happens if I'm tired or trying to pay attention. I looked at the text and it was Mila.
Me: What do you want?
Mila: Seth hasn't answered his phone. Can you explain what the hell happened?
Me: We broke up after a bad argument.
Mila: Are you okay?
I couldn't tell her that I wasn't because mentally, I felt like shit since I didn't mean to do this to Seth. But still, he's clearly the problem for that fight we had. Plus, I can't stand him at sometimes because of his immaturity.
Me: Now I am.
Mila: That's good. I hope you two make up someday.
Me: hell no. LOL.
Seth's POV
Few months later, me and Pixie were in my house, watching a movie. I noticed that she was cold so I gave her my jacket and she accepted it. I was relieved that she didn't say anything bad to me so far. Thank god she wasn't a being a bitch or else I would've broken up with her.
"Sethie?" She said, using my nickname that Glory gave me.
"Yeah?" I answered, holding her hand.
"Can you please get me a tissue." She sniffed.
"Sure." I nodded, handing the box to her. She took it and wiped her tears from her eyes. I felt myself get emotional as well but it was because of Glory. She was the only thing that made me happy and despite our fights, I never thought this one would ever cause us to break up. I mean, I almost dumped her last year with what she did when Charlize came over. I decided not to because she's not just my girlfriend but also my best friend and I truly love her.
"Seth, are you okay?" Pixie waved her hand around, getting my attention.
"Yeah. Just thinking about stuff." I said, blinking tears away from my eyes. I couldn't tell her the truth since that would be bad. Plus, I didn't want to get my heart broken twice in one year.
"What kind of stuff?" She moved closer to me.
"How to not cry over your ex." I shrugged, looking down with tears.
"Really?" She crossed her arms.
"What?" I said, feeling myself getting angry.
"I can't believe you actually thought about her." She yelled.
"It's not what you think!" I held her arm but she pushed it off.
"Face it, Seth! It's no wonder Glory broke up with you. She couldn't stand your immaturity and I can see why this happened." She said, taking her purse with her.
"She's also immature for her age as well!" I yelled.
"How old?" She asked, tapping her foot. Great, I can't say how old Glory is or there would be lots of problems with my reputation.
"26." I lied.
"Seriously?" She scoffed.
"It's the damn truth!" I argued.
"Sounds like you have your own problems." She rolled her eyes, avoiding me.
"How the hell is that any possible!" I said, confused.
"You act like a little kid all the time! I told you to eat like an adult and you clearly looked grossed out by it." She explained.
"Because vegetables are evil!"
"And that is why I'm finding a new boyfriend."
"Get out!"
"What?"
"Don't play dumb, Pixie! I said get out!"
"Fine then!"
