Blue walks ahead of me, bouncing with every step. "Emerald!" She exclaims, stopping in front of a store. "Yes?" I ask, smiling slightly. She points at a beautiful sculpture of a blue mermaid next too a dragon. I gasp in shock, feeling happier than I had been in days. We walk into the store, and I go over to the one I first saw. I circle it, not detecting any flaws. Blue come over and smile at me. "That's my favorite on." She whispers, softly stroking the sculpture. I smile at her, then I return my gaze to the sculpture. I look at the price, and I sigh. I'll never be able to afford it. "She looks at me, and then at the sculpture. "Maybe we could pool our money together to buy it." She suggests kindly. I shake my head. I don't want her to pay for a present. I check my watch, and I smile. "Blue..." I say, hiding my watch. "Yes?" She asks curiously. "What time is it?" I ask, smiling mischievously.  "Um... Lunchtime?" She asks, slightly wierded out by the look on my face. "HUG TIME!" I exclaim, tackling her and hugging her. We start laughing crazily, narrowly missing a shelf of porcelain figures as we stumble backwards. She winces when I touch her shoulder, but quickly covers it up. "We should go eat lunch." Blue says, gasping for air. I smile, and we skip all the way to the lunch court. "Where do you want to eat?" I ask, looking at the various stores. "Taco bell!" She says, dragging me over there. She orders a burrito, a medium sprite, and a small fries. I pay for her meal, and she bounces off to find us a seat. I walk over to her and I set her food down in front of her. "Aren't you going to eat?" She asks, concerned. "Nah. I'm not hungry." I say, sitting down to watch her eat, She looks at me skeptically. "You sure?" She asks pressingly. I smile and nod. She starts eating her food ravenously. I smile slightly,  and when she finishes, I pick up the trash and I throw it away. "Hey, Emerald!" Blue calls from across the hall. I smile, and I go over to where she is. "Isn't that one unique?" She asks, pointing at a blue goldfish. "Yeah." I say. slightly distracted. A couple of older girls I used to know were pointing at us and murmuring excitedly. "Blue." I say, tugging on her sleeve. "Yes?" She asks, looking at me happily. "We need to go." I say, pulling her away from the store and around the corner. "Why?" She asks, not resisting. "Don't worry about it. Let's start walking back." I say, feeling a bit rattled.
