In recent weeks/months Facebbok had become increasingly commercial. They push you to pay to support your pages both personal and commercial. Everyone with pages supporting human causes to business is being urged to pay to have more views. And if you don't, they have devised ways to cut down on who sees your page. If the page doesn't have a set number of likes on a particular day, the page will not show up on newsfeeds the next day. Thus a page with thirty thousand followeres may actually be seen by only 300.
If that weren't bad enough, and here comes the real censorship, if a paid page such as the Rachel Maddow Show posts something a new follower wants to comment on, a security warning shows up taking you to a page requesting credit card or mobile phone information for security reasons. WTF. I posted all year and now that the heartfelt bug forced me to open a new page I have to give you my credit card info? This warning only appears on paid pages. This is outrageous.
