Chapter 5: Making Pancakes

Ai's POV:

I woke up on 4:30 in the morning and I did my usual routine that I do everyday. My juniors are still asleep but they will wake up on 5:00. I just left them there snoring loud. I headed to the kitchen to get breakfast. I got a bowl and pancake mixture cause I want to have pancakes for breakfast. I started mixing when I heard someone coming. It was Haruka and she seems half asleep. She didn't notice me and went to the fridge to get milk. She pour milk in her glass. She looks like a idiot for not noticing me so I caught her attention.

Haruka's POV:

I was half asleep walking inside the kitchen. I opens the fridge and took out a cartoon of milk and poured it in my glass. While I was drinking my milk a high-pitched monotone voice greeted me.

"Ohayo"

My eyes widened and I choke on my milk that I was shocked to see Mikaze-senpai across the other counter. I didn't notice him that he was actually there.

"*cough cough* M-m-mikaze-senpai! Ohayo! Sorry I didn't noticed you were there hehehehe" I said stuttering and blushing really hard. I think I can beat the color of the tomato. 'BAKA!5x'

"It's all right Nanami. It's seems that you woke up early." He said while mixing the pancake mixture.

"Yeah I guess so hehehe I just don't want to be late with my schedules. Mikaze-senpai are you making pancake?" I asked him.

"Yes" He said monotoned

"Can I help Please...." I pleaded to him.

"Yes you can help" He said not even smiling. Just saying with a straight face.

"So....what can I do then?" I questioned him.

"You can mix the batter while I prepare the pan and stove" He said walking off to get a pan and turning on the stove and set it to medium heat. I started mixing the batter to quickly and some spilled on the floor and counter.

"Slow down when mixing we're not in a race!" He scolded me.

"Gomenasai Senpai!" I said with a sorry expression.

"*sigh* Its all right just go check if the pan is hot so that we could start cooking. I'll just clean this up" He said with an annoyed expression on his face.

"Hai!!" I listened to what he told me and I went to the stove to check if its hot.

"Mikaze-senpai it's already hot!!

"Ok"

Mikaze-senpai pour a little amount of oil in the pan and then he poured in the mixture.

"Can you get the maple syrup inside the fridge and also prepare some plates too" He ordered me which I obeyed. I took the bottle of syrup in the fridge and went to the cupboard to get some plates. I place them all on the counter and took one plate and gave to Mikaze-senpai.

"Here Mikaze-senpai" I said and handed the plate to him. He took it and place the cooked pancakes and returned it to me. I placed it at the table. I placed some for me and for Mikaze-senpai. I went and took a sit.

"Mikaze-senpai, come lets eat!" I called out to him.

"I prefer to eat on the balcony" He said monotoned and took his plate and headed to the balcony.

".....huh?.....um ok." I stood up and and took my plate and followed Mikaze-senpai. I sat down across from the table. I sliced my pancake and took a bite but it was still hot.

"Owwww....hot hot hot!!!!" I panicked and spit out the hot pancake. I drank my cold milk in one gulp.

"Huh.....much better..!!"

"BAKA!!"

" -.- '......o_o!!! Huh...what!!" I widened my eyes on what I heard from Senpai!

"You should've let it cooled down before eating it idiot!" He lectured me. I just crossed my arms and pouted. He stared at me for a moment. We were like having a staring contest. I just looked away from his gaze blushing. He leaned forward and took my plate. I just watched him what his doing. He started blowing my pancake slice. He finished and returned my plate.

"You can eat it now it's not hot anymore" He told me looking at me with his cyan emotionless eyes. I started eating while blushing slight pink. I noticed him tilting his head.

"Ummmm.... Is there anything wrong Mikaze-senpai?" I asked blushing again.

"Why do you turn red when eating , it's not hot anymore?" He asked me making me blush even more.

"Umm..n-nothing wrong Mikaze-senpai I just like your cooking hehehehe!" Laughing awkwardly, rubbing the back of my neck. He just nodded and retuned to eating his pancake. We finished eating and we cleaned our mess and washed the plates. We left the others some pancakes and placed it at the dining room. Right on time the others arrived still looking sleepy.

"Ohayo Minna-san we made some pancakes!!" I said making the other hyper.

"Really Nanami Thanks!" Syo-kun thanked me and sit down and started eating.

"Thanks but actually Mikaze-senpai actually the one who made them I just helped him!" I corrected him and pointing Mikaze-senpai. Ringo-sensei went in shouting.

"Nanami-chan! President Saotome needs to see you!" Ringo-sensei announced.

"Hai!" I said and headed my way.
