Can He Love Me? (Ai Mikaze x Haruka Nanami)

Chapter 17: A.I

Haruka's POV:

We rode most of the ride of the amusement park. This day was so much fun. Mikaze-senpai has learned the true meaning of having FUN. We went to different kind of booths. Senpai won a cute white stuff toyed rabbit with a pink ribbon. It was already evening so we decided to have a evening stroll on the park. Stoping to food stalls or playing games.

We stop at a Ferris wheel. I always wanted to ride in one. This is my first riding it. We went to the booth and took tickets for the ride. We went in in one of the carts. As everything's settled the Ferris wheel started moving. The view is so magnificent. Being alone in this space with senpai is kind of awkward.

I spoke first to break the silence,   "Senpai I had so much fun! Thank you for bringing me here. Even though I was the one suppose to help you with your emotions." Mikaze-senpai didn't response he was just looking out the window aimlessly. He may be distracted by his thoughts. I wonder wants he thinking about. I decided to snap him out, "Senpai?"..............."Senpai?" He still didn't notice me. I stood up and went near senpai. I then tried shouting a little, "Senpai?!"

"Huh?....oh Nanami what is it?" He ask. I gave him a confuse look, "Senpai it seem your deep in thought. I'm sorry to ask you personally but is there something bothering you??" 

He nodded and place his hand on his chest, "there is....." He stood out of his seat and faced me. "It's just that I have this strange feeling inside me. I don't know what it is. By any chance you know what kind of feeling is this Nanami?" I shook my head, "I don't understand senpai but can you tell what it feels like."

"It's just that when I think about it I seem that I'm overh-" senpai didn't finish his sentence because he suddenly fell down to his knees.

"Senpai are you ok??" I ask touching his forehead. It felt his temperature and it's high but it higher than the average temperature when you get sick.... "Senpai you have a fever! We must go to the hospital now!" I pulled him up but he refused to stand. "Senpai we need to go!"

He shook his head, "No Nanami." "But why? We need to go to the hospital cause of your fever!" He still refuse. He took my hand and put it in his chest. He doesn't have a heartbeat???.....but how..... He look at me in the eyes. Then suddenly his eyes seemed to be showing numbers. I don't get it what's going on......Senpai??

His eyes then went to normal. I just sat there with curiosity and shock on what's happening. Senpai then look at me again, "Haruka...." He said my name for the very first time. "The reason I collapsed last time and about what your seeing now it's because........"

"I'm a Robot." His a..........Robot???? How? What? When? I have many questions running on my mind. Senpai is a Robot!! That's why he ask me to help him with his emotions!!

"Ha-ru-ka.....bring me to the Professor." He said and gave me an address. As the ride finish I help senpai out. People were questioning what happened. They told me to bring senpai to the Hospital. We took a taxi and I told the driver the address.

We arrive at the house. I payed the driver and went out. I went to the front door slowly cause senpai might fall. "Ring the doorbell Haruka..." Senpai said. I did what I was told and ring the doorbell. I heard someone from inside shouted. The door then opened revealing a mid-40's man wearing glasses and a lab coat. He maybe be the professor!

"Ai??!!What happened??!! We need to fix you right now. Young Lady please wait inside until I finish fixing Ai." The Professor said  taking Ai. I entered and the Professor went inside a room. It may be his lab. I hope Ai will be ok.

How about me I can't seem to recover from the shock. I took a seat at the sofa. Why is Senpai a Robot???....I fell in LOVE with a ROBOT!!!...... I waited for half an hour. Until the Professor came out. "Im Nanami Haruka by the way. Is senpai ok now??" I stood out of my seat. The Professor nodded, "it's nice to meet you Miss Nanami. Yes his in stable condition now. I know you have many questions you wanted to ask right now." I nodded the Professor then started explaining.

"Ai was created by me. The reason is because of the idol Aine Kisaragi. You heard of him right?" He ask and I nodded. "He got tired of his life and decided to commit suicide by drowning himself but he didn't succeeded because I have manage to save him since I'm his uncle and which lead him to comatose. To save and remain Aine's existence. I created a robot that looks and sounds like Aine. In this creating Ai Mikaze, the replica and chance of saving Aine." I nodded, "but what's the reason senpai collapsed Professor??" He adjusted his glasses and said, "Ai is not really complete. He can't really show emotions. When he really thinks hard about it. It lead him to overheating then he will start to malfunction. For the past years I can't seem to find a way for him to feel. Then, until today I found the reason why he seems to show emotions now.....and it's because of you Miss Nanami." He said with a smile.

"The reason why senpai almost has emotion is because of me??" I pointed at myself. He nodded, "its a working progress! So can I ask a favor?" He ask. I nodded, "yes what is it Professor?" "I want you to teach Ai about emotions!"

"Well senpai already ask me. He manage to show basic emotions like being happy and having fun." The Professor's smile grew, "That's great then. Then Ai will surely will learn a lot even Love!"

Love???? I don't know how about me will I still continue this love for my senpai. Which I found out him being a Robot.

There you have it guys! Now Haruka knows Ai is an A.I. Things will start getting complicated and awkward for the two. Anyways.......bye Minna-san!!
