It was midnight. Halloween had officially begun. The pure black sow rose from where it was laying behind the giant pumpkin and looked around the world.
It took a few more bites of the pumpkin that it was eating before it started walking through the dark of night. It's over sensitive snout smelled the odor of burning flesh. It followed the aroma through the night'a crisp air.
It stopped on a quiet little corner and watched as three trick-or-treaters stared at a gray house. He watched as they sat silent and motionless. They sat more still than any other children the sow had ever seen. There was something different about them.
It sniffed the smell of burning flesh once again as the three slowly made their way towards the house they had been watching.
