The wedding is beautiful. The location is outside the city, and it takes Baekhyun far longer to get there than it should had if his GPS hadn't fucked up repeatedly, but he makes it on time.

"Finally," says Jongdae when he sees him. His suit fits him distressingly well. Going through all that trouble had been worth it, in the end. He's holding hands with a beautiful girl, who looks a little taller than him with the huge heels she's wearing, but neither of them seem to mind. "Where were you? This thing is about to start!"

As they make their way to were the ceremony will take place and find somewhere to sit, the girl introduces herself as Yungson. She's incredibly charming, and Baekhyun can see why Jongdae's so smitten with her.

The wedding is outside, and there are big white and gold tents, and flowers everywhere. It looks like something out of a fairytale, and now Baekhyun understands why Junmyeon had to come back to Korea so early to start with the preparations. The amount of people here is incredible. All their friends are here. He recognizes Junmyeon's family and his older friends from college, too, the ones they hung out with sometimes. He waves and bows to the ones that seem to recognize him, like Kyuhyun and Minho. He doesn't know most of the people here, though, and neither does Jongdae, so they look around for their friends. They say hello to Sehun and Zitao, both looking dashing on their probably ridiculously expensive suits. They spot Chanyeol, with a pretty girl by his side, and he waves at them with a huge, silly grin on his face. Baekhyun's going to go say hello but then he sees Kyungsoo to Chanyeol's other side, looking everywhere but at Baekhyun, and he changes his mind. He will talk to him, but not now. He doesn't want to ruin this for Junmyeon in case everything goes wrong.

They stop to hug Yixing, who's chatting with Minseok. It's been years since Baekhyun last saw him, but he looks the same. His Korean has managed to get a lot worse, though, and it's obvious that it bothers him, but he doesn't let it stop him from trying to say a hundred things at once, like how much he's missed Baekhyun and how long it's been and how happy he is to see them all again here, at Junmyeonie's wedding. He can't stop smiling, and his dimple is as charming as it has always been. Minseok hugs Baekhyun too, and wishes him a belated happy birthday. "You're old now," he says. He still looks as baby faced as he did when they were in college, but he turned thirty this year. Yixing shows them pictures of his daughter on his phone. It's overwhelming, and Baekhyun's glad when the speakers on the ceiling announce the ceremony's about to begin. They sit next to Jongin and his date, who Baekhyun recognizes as the boy he saw Jongin with when they went to see Chanyeol's show, and he introduces him as Moonkyu. It's nice, seeing (almost) all his friends with someone. It only makes him feel a little inadequate and out of place, but he doesn't have time to feel too bad about being alone before the ceremony stars.

Junmyeon has never looked more handsome than he does now in his beautiful white suit. Junghwan is in white too. This is Baekhyun's first time seeing him in person, and by the way he's looking at Junmyeon right now he knows Junmyeon will be in good hands. The ceremony itself doesn't last very long. They and their mothers bow at each other repeatedly, and then Junmyeon gives a little speech before the I dos that makes mostly everyone cry, or at least tear up a little. After Junmyeon and Junghwan kiss, everyone stands up to clap. Jongdae whistles. Jongin can't stop crying. Between all the faces in the crowd, Baekhyun catches Kyungsoo's eyes for a second, and gets a glimpse of his open-mouthed smile, the one that makes his eyes scrunch up, before he looks away.

For the banquet, he sits on the same table as Jongdae and Yungson, as well as Minseok and Yixing and some of Junmyeon's cousins. Chanyeol, Jongin and Kyungsoo are all in the same table, just a couple of tables away from Baekhyun's. He meets Kyungsoo's gaze over the glasses of champagne, over and over again. Baekhyun's trying to get the timing right, trying to decide what will be the best way to approach Kyungsoo, but then, as their eyes meet again, it seems to be too much for Kyungsoo. Once again, Kyungsoo takes the decision for Baekhyun. Baekhyun sees him excuse himself to the others in the table as he stands up suddenly, and Baekhyun's on his feet before Kyungsoo can get very far.
