The Teen Avengers

Chapter 2- I get to see the Helicarrier

Johnny and I were pumped to see the Heli-carrier. We have seen it from the TV screen when they did a documentary on S.H.I.E.L.D, but this time we get to see it and go in it!

"This is so cool! We get to go on the Heli-carrier! The HQ of S.H.I.E.L.D! This is so awesome!!" I said bouncing up and down in my seat,

"I know! This is great! Big guns, big ship, boat, thing, and lots of pretty agent ladies." Johnny said relaxing in his seat.

Did I forget to mention that Johnny is a ladies man? He tries to flirt with every pretty lady he sees. Whenever Johnny talks about pretty ladies I give a 'whatever' look and then he knows that he's boring us. And I gave him one,

"We should be there very soon you two."

"Great!" I said.

"Director Fury," the pilot spoke, "we are approaching the Heli-carrier now, Sir"

"Good. Bring her down."

"Yes, sir."

The pilot started to bring the jet down. I was the one who saw the Heli-carrier first though the front window, "Whoa..." I gawked, "The Heli-carrier is enormous!" Johnny looked out of the window and his eyes grew huge and his mouth dropped.

"Whoa..."

When we landed, a lady with shoulder length red hair met us as we excited the Quinn-jet, "Director Fury. Welcome back to the Heli-carrier, sir." She took a glance at Johnny and me, "I'm surprised, sir, that you arrived without a single scorch or burn on you."

"To tell you the truth, Agent Romanoff, I'm surprised myself. Take the Storms to the others and get their teachers."

"Yes, Director Fury." Fury walk away and Agent Romanoff looked Johnny and me up and down, scrutinizing us. I hate when people do that... Then she started walking to the entrance of the main part of the Helicarrier. Johnny and I ran up to her and followed her into the Heli-carrier.

"Hey, I'm Johnny and this is my little sis, Alex." Johnny said to her,

"Yes, I know who both of you are." Johnny and I were kind of shocked from her statement,

"S.H.I.E.L.D. Told you I guess?" Johnny asked.

"Correct." Makes sense.

Agent Romanoff led us into a room that had a pool and fosse ball table, a mini kitchen with a fridge and a bar counter, three couches, a flat screen TV that had the football game on, and a few kids,

"Here we are, Storms. These are your new classmates that will be staying here for school and training." Agent Romanoff pushed us in, "Get to know your classmates a bit while I go get your teachers." She closed the door behind us and all the kids were quiet. Most of the kids wore these S.H.I.E.L.D uniforms but quite a few wore regular clothes. I cleared my throats and waved slightly.

"Um... Hi..." I started off, I wasn't really good in crowds. "I'm Alex and this is Johnny."

We were greeted by a bunch if hellos and hi's. Johnny went off to talk guy talk with some of the boys and a girl who looked to be a little older than me in a S.H.I.E.L.D uniform walked up to me,

"Hi! I'm Lauren." She held out her hand for me to shake. I shook it.

"Nice to meet you." I noticed how strong her grip was. Whoa is she like Captain America? Lauren also had pretty red hair and she stood almost the same 5'9" as me. She was probably and inch or two taller and She had bright blue eyes similar to mine.

She took a deep breath and rested her hands on her hips, "So, first time on the Heli-carrier, Alexa?"

I nodded, "Yup. You?"

"Nah, I practically live here."

"Really? That's cool."

"Yeah, there's downsides though. I haven't seen any of the new movies or read any trending books." She said.

"You're serous?" I asked, raising my eyebrows.

"Yeah. By the way what movies are out anyway?"

"Umm, well the Hunger Games came out last year. That's a good movie if your into dystopian movies. Oh it's also a book. I highly recommend it." I said. Lauren nodded her head,

"Mmmhhhmm, okay, I'll check it out."

"And, there's G.I. Joe: retaliation. That's a good one. Has to do with a secret organization, kinda like S.H.I.E.L.D In a way."

"Oh, yeah. I think I heard about that one. Oh! Here comes Nick." Sure enough, I turn around and Nick was standing there with Agent Romanoff and another agent with the words 'level 7' on his badge. Romanoff waved a little to someone behind me and I turned to see who she was waving to but I didn't see who.

"Kids, sit down." Nick ordered. We complied, and I sat down on the couch next to Lauren and this other guy with dark hair and sunglasses. "I called you all here today for special training so you can know how to be better super humans." Yay... I rested my elbow on my knee and head on my hand.

"You'll learn how to work as a team for those team ups you'll have in the future. Your trainers will be the Avengers and Agent Phil Coulson." Nick gestures to the agent beside him. So that's Phil Coulson. He doesn't look so tough to me... Phil looked to be in his around his fifties and his hair was thinning out on top of his head. I've heard a bunch about him from the Internet when Hydra took over SHIELD and all their files were downloaded to the Internet a few years ago. They kept saying Phil was one of the best Agents Nick had. Now that unlock at him, I'm thinking otherwise...

"You have no classes today because you are going to be settling into your new rooms. So, as of now, agent Romanoff and Agent Coulson will be bringing you to your rooms." Nick stood up and we (the students) did the same. "Some of you will have your own room, others will bunk with someone. We have analyzed your files and put you in room that will suit your powers and personalities best." Oh boy! A flame proof room! Yay! I wonder if I'll have any roomies... "That is all. Romanoff, Coulson, lead them to their rooms." Nick said and then walked away, his black super cool trench coat billowing as he walked.

I want one like that... I mentally slapped myself. Girl! Conentrate! Your ADHD is showing. Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you, I have ADHD. That's partially why I'm so exuberant (Ooo! I used a big word!) hyper, and ridiculous. Not many people know, except you now. So congrats! You know a weird fact about me! Whoops, getting distracted... Again...

So once Fury left the room us kids didn't know what to do, at least I till Coulson spoke,

"Alright, listen up. I will be taking the gentlemen to their room and Natasha will take the ladies to theirs." He said, not in a commanding way like most SHIELD agents, but in a nice soft tone. Though I could tell, if you ticked him off, he's gonna be a shouter. "So, gents, let's be off." He motioned the guys to follow him.

I quickly glanced at Johnny and he looked over at me. I smiled and waved at him as he left with the other dudes. He smirked at me and then walked through the door out into the vast helicarrier.
