A journey's beginning(A Ninjago Series)

Follow Your Heart and Make Yourself Proud!

In a small village on the hills of Ninjago is Igancia and many people seem to love the peace and quiet it is. 

"C'mon, Kai! It's only a once in a lifetime festival!" whined someone from a small shop called 4 weapons. In there revealed to be a raven haired girl and a spiky auburn haired boy. 

"Nya, like I said, we can't go to the festival!" Kai said and he was trying to make a sword because a customer write him a letter to make one for some type of war. Kai can't concertarte right now because Nya's been blabbering about the Blossom Festival ever since there was a poster that said something about a Blossom Festival in Stix. Kai tried to ignore Nya a lot about that stupid festival but it seems like she can't stop talking about it. All he wanted is peace and quiet. 

Nya, on the other hand is a very tough younger sister to Kai but love to talk a lot about (I don't possibly know about since I'm the author and the end of this chapter will reveal the characters' traits) anything. Her raven haired passed through her shoulders and stop growing at her elbows. Nya loved festivals and she seem to love it so much because one day a shooting star will fly passed her and her wished came true so she 'tried' to be patient of waiting for her shooting star to come. 

Nya looked at Kai and sighed. "When are you going get a girlfriend, Kai? I mean man, it's been forever since Dad and Mom left us to go somewhere else but hey, I bet in the future someone will like you and you like her and after that you won't be overprotective anymore instead you become a cuddly father with his children and wife living in a house and boom, I can make my own decisions without you making them for me because you are in your own life with your own family" Nya blurted and Kai looked like he is going to explode. 

Kai looked at his sister and continued making the sword. When is she going to shut up? Man, she needs a boyfriend and for me, nah! No one won't ever like me! Ever! I'm a stubborn and hothead guy and most girls love the bad boys and I'm a little bit of bad boy but c'mon, I bet I won't fell in love and that Nya will be the first one to fell in love! Not ME! Kai thought and he realized maybe his sister might be right. He needs to grow up instead of following his dad's legacy. 

When he was young, his father always to tell him that making swords for everyone will be the best thing in the world, but Kai never felt like that so he tried to make the sword to make his father proud wherever he is with his mother. 

Kai looked at Nya and probably right now she was looking out of the window touching one of the fire lilies and Kai knew that he promised to make Nya proud so he stop making the sword and touch Nya's shoulder. 

"Nya, look, are you sad because you are not going to the festival?" Kai asked his depressed sister and Nya looked at Kai and cried on his shoulder. 

"Yes! Kai! I wonder why you're turning into dad!" Nya muffled and Kai put his hand and gently rubbed Nya's back. "Look, Nya, I tried not to turned into dad but hey sometimes you need to shut up, okay" Kai said and Nya sobbed lightly and sniffed. Nya got off Kai's shoulder and sighed. 

"I guess I need to shut up but what I said earlier I didn't want that to happen, I just felt like you need to stop acting overprotective and find someone who have the same interest as you, you know get a start on your life" Nya said and walked up on the stairs and Kai knew Nya is right this time. "Nya! You know what? What you said is the smartest thing you have ever said in your life" Kai said and Nya laughed. "Yeah, but their something I need to tell you" Nya said and she went down to Kai. 

"And what is it, Nya?" Kai said and Nya sighed. "Kai, promise me that you won't turn into dad" Nya said and Kai was confused. "Why is that? Why won't you let me be dad?" Kai said to Nya. "Because Dad only cares about this shop more than us and you know that, right? I just want you to be you and follow your heart and make yourself proud" Nya said and Kai smiled. "I promise, Nya, I won't turn into dad" Kai said and Nya looked at Kai like she want to know if he is lying or not. "Are you lying, Kai, or telling me the truth?" Nya questioned her older brother. 

"I'm telling the truth, Nya, I promise I won't turn into dad" Kai said and Nya punched Kai in the arm accidentally. "OW! What was that for?" Kai groaned and Nya giggled. "Oh, I just want to punch you, that's all, no reason" Nya said and Kai went to sit in one of the couches. 

"So Kai, are we going to the Blossom Festival?" Nya asked Kai and Kai sighed. 

"Yes but only you cleaned up my room and do my laundry or else we're not going" Kai said and Nya smiled. 

"Deal! But question, how many laundry baskets are in your room?" Nya said and Kai smirked. 

"Just go in my room and see how many there are?" Kai said and Nya went to check Kai's room. 

6 minutes passed by and Nya end up yelling at Kai. 

"KAI!!!!!!!!!!! How come there are 40 laundry baskets full of your clothes and the fact your room is not that clean! Gross! Now they're ants and spiders everywhere! How can you live in this piece of junk?!" Nya yelled out and grossing out and Kai smiled. 

"That's what she get since she wanted to go to the Blossom Festival after all" Kai said and he looked out of the window.

It was windy and Kai remembered what Nya said to him . 

"I just want you to be you and follow your heart and make yourself proud" and it keep on repeating throughout the rest of the evening. Besides the fact, Nya is cleaning up his "mess". 

But Kai will keep his promise for Nya in order to make her proud and love her like his mother would do. But to his dad, without him guiding him in person, he knew all his father wanted for Kai is to grow up and become someone else that will change his life forever. Maybe he will find his love interest but first all he wanted is for Nya to find hers before him. 

Hey, it's the Love Ninja and man, I have the traits for Kai and Nya and here they are:

Kai: More of a stubborn and compassionate like Cole but he might act like Cole or Lloyd but more of a father type to Nya than a brother type. He likes his hair a lot and make sure he kept his promise strong and won't break it for Nya. 

Nya: Like I said earlier, Nya is more of a blabber mouth, tough, and protects Kai at all time but hey she love festivals and hope one day it will flew passed by her in order to make her wish to come true. She might act like Jay sometimes whenever she talks a lot like him.
