When Her Whole Life Changed Forever

Where am I?

I woke up in a hospital bed with an intense chest pain, a pounding headache, and a very sharp pain in my side. The sharp pain got worse as I tried to sit up " fuck! " I cried out in pain. " what's wrong!? " it was Sheldyn's voice.. I glanced to the side of by hospital bed and saw he had just been startled awake by my scream in pain, he had tears running down his face and he looked like he'd been in that spot for a while.

" How long have you been in here with me? " I asked in a strained voice. "Going on two months, you've been in a coma.. you almost died.. " he said quietly as if not to break down in tears. I moved as much to one side of the bed as I could get and I patted beside me, signaling for him to come lay down. " I'm fine now, come lay with me. You look like you need a comfortable nap. " 

He didn't hesitate he simply got in the bed snuggled next to me and I put my head on his chest.  I was about to ask him what exactly happened, but I could tell from his breathing and heart beat that he was already asleep. A few hours later Jay came in, near expressionless. 

" hey, do you know what happened? " I asked quietly so I wouldn't wake Sheldyn again. She smiled a really freaky grin and said " I'm not here for you, for you to try to be friends with me. I'm here because you stole me reason to live. YOU BROKE HIM! So I'm going to finish what he started, I'm going to kill you and Sheldyn. " She started laughing. 

Now mind you I'm no badass, but I don't take threats lightly. " I hope the fuck you do you'll be a dead son a bitch I'll tell you that " I glared at her as I said it slowly pulling out my ivs and such, causing my heart beat to flat line on the monitor. She charged at me with what looked like a syringe, and I caught her arm just before the needle could touch me or Sheldyn ( whose still asleep ) I then twisted her arm, causin her to drop the syringe. 

She cried out " Why do you get to have the perfect fucking life and get everything you want!? " she had completely lost her mind. I grabbed some spare sheets and tied her up. When the nurses  arrived they took her to the psych ward, I handed them the syringe they told me there was a very deadly substance in it and they had no idea where she had gotten it. Sheldyn had woken up in the midst of Jay and I's fight, he was looking at me with just this look of amazement " where'd you learn to do that? "

" you taught me " I breathed heavily. " Are you okay? " he asked with concern in his voice. From behind me I heard Jake's voice say " She won't ever be the same, she won't be okay ever again " Then there was a sharp pain to my cranium...
