Jaydon Calhoun"Man cmon', befo' yo daddy beat both of us up." I chuckled, joking to her. She laughed before catching up to me.
We were now leaving the movie theater and it was going on 11 o'clock, which was her curfew on a school night. We could've went earlier but my coach dragged us at practice and we ain't leave til 8 o'clock.
She had made me go to see the movie Girls' Trip with her. It was ight' tho.
"I'll just tell him I was with Kira." She shrugged. I chuckled before pulling her into me.
When we made it to my truck, I opened the door for her, letting her climb in before I closed it. I got in and closed my door.
15 minutes later, I was pulling up in her driveway to see all the lights on.
"Girl you finna' get a whoopin'." I said before laughing. She mushed my head before chuckling. She unbuckled her seatbelt before grabbing her book bag.
"Bye Jaydon." She said about to open the door until I stopped her.
"Ain't you forgettin' sum' ma." I said smirking at her.
"What?" She asked clueless, looking around to see what she was forgetting.
"This." I said pulling her face towards me and leaning in to kiss her. I bit down on her bottom lip before pulling away, leaving her wanting for more.
"Gone on fa' ya' daddy come outchea' shooting na." I joked again. She laughed before rolling her eyes and getting out.
When she had got into the house, I carefully backed out of her driveway and drove home.
"Wassup ma." I asked plopping down on the couch beside her. She yawned before speaking to me.
"Where you been?" She asked taking her eyes off of the TV to look at me.
"Out wit' Kobe nem'." I lied, standing up from the couch. I only lied because I don't like everybody in my business. If I would've told her I was out with a girl, she would've made nothing into something. She would've wanted to meet with her to make sure she was "good enough" for her son. It had been like that every since she had seen what the the first girl I loved did to me.
"Ma I'm bout ta' head up and shower. Goodnight and I love ya'." I said before kissing her forehead and going up the stairs passing Jeremiah and Jordan on the way.

"Why you comin' in so late?" My dad asked as he walked out of the kitchen from with my mom.
"Kira and Lon wanted me to go see a movie with them so we had to wait for Lon to get out of practice and pops didn't release them until 8." I said partially lying. The look on his face scared me a little.
"Look babygirl, I'm sorry for hitting you last week, I just didn't know what to think when I seen you in the room with that boy. I admit I got out of hand and I had no rights putting my hands on you the way that I did. Do you forgive me?" He asked pulling me into a hug.
"Yes, I forgive you dad." I said as a smile fell on my face.
"I love you, princess." He smiled as a tear rolled down his cheek. He kissed my forehead before letting me go.
