Chapter 3
~Ali's p.o.v.~
I walked away from Matt, the strange boy who was oddly attractive. His brown eyes glistened in the sun, and his hair was perfect.
He was wearing a blue tank top, and grey basket ball shorts, but he still looked adorable.
I knew I was blushing from my embarrassing experience, why couldn't I just be patient and ask Kailey for our mailbox number. And even more embarrassing, why did Matt ask for my number. Whenever guys did that, I got so nervous.
"Stupid, stupid, stupid." I muttered to myself as I walked into our apartment.
"Ali, where were you?" Kailey yelled from the bathroom.
I walked towards her, and realized she was getting ready.
"Well actually..." I started.
"Hold that thought," Kailey stopped me, "We're going out tonight!"
"Where to?" I asked.
"The beach! Duh." She winked at me.
"Why are you curling your hair if we're going to the beach?" I giggled.
"Because there's going to be cute guys!" Kailey replied defensively.
"Alright well. I'm putting my hair in a bun so." I trailed off.
Kailey was literally perfect. She didn't even have to try. Her blue eyes were so noticeable. And her cute little button nose, and her dark brown hair was so long. Her perfect body, which she weighed 115.
Basically every guy adored her.
"Hey! Earth to Ali!" She snapped her fingers, snapping me out of my day dream of being as perfect as her.
"Sorry. So why are we dressing up so fancy, nobody's going to be at the beach that late!" I smirked, testing Kailey.
"Actually, nobody's going. But c'mon Ali, we have to look cute. You never know if we run into some cute guys!"
"Alright, you stick with that Kailey. I'm still wearing a messy bun." I rolled my eyes.
"Okay lazy pants." She laughed, and continued to curl her hair.
I decided to stay in white shorts, but I changed my shirt, to a shirt that was black, and ripped along the side, with a sports bra under.
I was obviously done getting ready, so I sat down and got on twitter.
An hour later, Kailey was done getting ready, so we started getting our stuff ready for the beach. Like, towels, and our glasses, and stuff to drink.
"Good thing the beach is empty!" I smirked.
"Hey, so when do you think we can get a dog?" She replied, changing the subject.
"When we're more stable. And I'm getting a cat."
"Dogs are better."
Me and Kailey had always argued over cats and dogs.
"Ali it's like barley three."
"Yeah it's still too early to go to the beach. I seriously thought it was later than three." I sat back down on the couch, and grabbed my phone.
"We can go out to eat," Kailey's eyes lit up.
"Where to?"
"Let's just go to Chipotle."
