We got to the beach, and started walking on the sand. "So, did you like the zoo?"

"I loved it!" I smiled.

"Good."

I glanced up ahead and saw Shawn. He started jogging over to me and Matt.

"Hey guys!"

I could tell Matt was trying his hardest to not be rude.

He came up and said, "Matt, I know it seemed like I was trying to take Ali from you or whatever, but that wasn't my intention at all. I was just trying to figure out if she was serious about you."

"What?" Matt said, obviously confused.

"You're one of my best friends, and I wanted to see if she actually likes you as much as you like her. Trust me, I know how much you like her, and I would never do anything to hurt you." Shawn continued.

"That makes sense." I smiled.

"Please Matt, I'm sorry," Shawn said.

"It's okay man." Matt smiled and embraced Shawn in a tight hug.

"Do you guys wanna come hang out with me and Taylor?"

They both looked at me, "sure!"

Then we all walked over to where Taylor was. "Oh uh, hey Ali." Taylor said, quickly.

"Hey!" I smiled sweetly and sat next to him.

"Uh, Matt, Carter said he had to see you at your guys' apartment. He texted me." Shawn said.

"Oh, okay. Can I come back later?" Matt asked me.

"Yeah, its cool. I'll hang with Taylor and Shawn."

Matt than got up, leaving me behind.

Three hours had passed, and Matt still hadn't showed.

"Do you just want to go back to our hotel?" Shawn asked sweetly.

"Uh, yeah, I guess." I muttered.

"It'll be fun." Taylor laughed while hugging me.

Four hours had passed, and Matt had still not called, or answered our calls.

"We can go check their apartment. They're probably just hanging out." Taylor said quietly, interrupting my thoughts.

"Actually that'd be pretty cool, if you don't mind.." I smiled.

So Taylor drove me over to the large apartments.

"C'mon, let's go inside." Taylor smiled and put his hand on my knee for a couple of seconds.

As I walked up the stairs to Matt and Carter's apartment, it seemed longer than usual.

Taylor quickly knocked on their door, only to find that there was no response.

"Screw this, let's just go in." I muttered, Taylor only nodded in agreement.

At first, when we walked in I was glad to see Matt laying on the bed. Until I noticed he was laying with someone else.

I stepped closer to Matt's bed, and saw that he was laying beside the one person who was there for me when no one else was. The one person who held my trust since we were little. The one person who knew all of my stupid little secrets. Kailey.
