Louis had been shuffling around nervously on his seat for forty five minutes now, English lessons were just as interesting as they had been in his previous school, and by that he meant not at all

The boy had resorted to watching the second's hand on the clock, letting the soft ticking sound fill his ears and invade his senses; it was both mesmerizing and distracting all at once

The same boy that he'd met earlier was sat across the table from him with his legs stretched forwards and one of his hands in his pockets, he was absentmindedly tapping a pen against his thigh as he absorbed the teachers instructions. He glanced at Louis every so often and offered him a smile; it wasn't as intimidating as it had been this morning and his whole persona seemed a lot more pleasant

Louis squirmed uncomfortably under the strangers gaze nonetheless, he had never been one to like getting attention and this stranger looked like he wanted to eat him alive. Every time Louis turned away, the man would lick at his lips or tilt his head to get a better view of Louis; it made the smaller boy blush

After the lecture ended Louis stood up and left the classroom along with all of the other students. As soon as he got back into the hallway he pulled out his phone and called Liam

"Louis, how's your first day, love?" Liam greeted after picking up almost instantly

"I hate it" Louis huffed "I want to go home"

"Aw, I'm sure it's not that bad" Liam replied

Louis sniffed and looked around at the busy hallways "It is that bad" Louis argued "I haven't even made any friends yet"

"It's alright" Liam promised "Zayn's starting next week, right? Then you'll have him"

"But what about all of this week?" Louis questioned "M'lonely" he whined, sighing and walking down the hallway in search of an exit

"Louis, just talk to someone" Liam told him "I'm sure anyone would be happy to show you around"

"Everyone's so weird here" Louis stated "Feels like everyone's watching me" he admitted, looking over his shoulder at a group of girls

"I'm sure that's not true" Liam hushed him "I have to go, love, but please try and make friends" he added

Louis sighed, still looking at the group of girls that he was sure were laughing at him "Alright" he mumbled into the phone "Bye, Liam"

When Louis turned back around to look where he was going, it was because he'd bumped straight into someone's chest. The same man from earlier grabbed at Louis' forearm to steady him

"Oh my god, I'm so sorry" Louis rushed out, slowly pulling his arm back from the smiling man's grasp "I wasn't watching where I was going" he admitted, blushing and looking down

"Don't worry about it" the man said quickly, offering Louis a smile "It's alright"

"Thanks" Louis muttered, finally looking up again to meet the man's eyes

"My name's Harry" he introduced, sticking his hand out to Louis "You were in my English class, I'm guessing that you're new?" He questioned and Louis nodded slightly as he shook the mans hand in confusion

"Louis" the blue eyed boy replied "I thought I told you that this morning" he mumbled and Harry shook his head

"Nope" Harry answered with an amused grin "But it's nice to meet you anyway" he added
