As soon as I went back to the car, Seth sat impatiently in his seat, blinking his brown eyes at me.

"What the hell took you so long?" he whined. "I was getting SO bored!"

"Then, you should have tagged along with me." I retort.

"Shut up," Seth snap. "So, what's the deal with Officer Beach Surfer?"

My hands grip the steering wheel quite firmly.

"Great," I responded, starting the car.

"The annoying moron insists that he's sorry for kissing Cole at the prom."

Seth gives me a childish smile.

"What?"

"Maybe someone's a little bit jealous." he sang.

I ignored his stupid remark and backed out the driveway.

"Where to?" Seth ask.

"The hospital," I answer, moving forward.

"Meanwhile, you're going to-"

"Hack into the foster parents' records and get some info?" Seth guessed.

"I'm on it."

After I dropped him home, I continue to heading  North.

All of a sudden, my BlackBerry phone jiggled in my cupholder.

My right hand grab hold of the phone and answer it.

"Hey Sherlock," Cole beamed.

I chuckled in reply.

"Hey Irene," I said back. "Are you getting ready for your big day?"

That's when I heard a low sigh.

"My mom is," Cole moaned. "But I am certainly not.Since today is Saturday, my mother insist on me buying everything for the slumber party."

"Anyways, how's the case so far?"

"So far, I went to the house." I explain very carefully.

"Frank explained that Miles' foster parents are always busy. So, they ask the neighbors to babysit him."

"Do you know their names?" she ask.

"No," I admit.

"I can look at their names if you want." Cole offered.

"That's nice," I insist. "But I am sure Seth can look through their files."

"Background checks?" she ask.

"Nope," I respond.

"Credit card records?"

I thought about it for a minute.

"Well, you can check for his school records." I said. "Maybe a list of foster parents and some babysitters?"

"Okay," Cole said nonchalantly.

"I'll see what I can do."

All of a sudden, I can hear her mother yelling in the background.

"HONEY, YOUR FRIENDS ARE HERE!"

"Hold on, Sherlock." she pleaded.

"Mom, for the last time, they are NOT my friends!"

After a quick second, Cole got back on the phone.

"I'll check Miles' records and his old foster parents." she promised.

"Good luck on your case!"
