The Wolf And Rabbit

I hate myself.

Tom was a wolf. A lone wolf, to be exact. He left his pack because he wasn't very into being violent. Seeing multiple creatures drown in blood in front of him made him sick (not physically). He didn't want to harm anymore animals. It just.. Wasn't his thing. Tord was a rabbit the opposite of Tom. Tord was in the middle of the forest, when he came across 3 wolves in front of him. He didn't know what to do. They almost bit him. But luckily, Tom saw them right then and there. He barked like a dog at them. They just laughed at him. Tom walked up to them and sat next to Tord, wrapping his tail around the rabbit. "I-i don't want to do this.. " He whispered, loud enough for them to hear him. His paws spread as his claws poked out of them. He raised one paw and said "please don't make me do this.. " The other 3 howled and a ton of wolves appeared from the bushes. "Catch the rabbit. " Said the largest and most dangerous one. Tom bared his teeth, hissing like a cat. He stood up and charged toward them. He bit into ones neck, pinning him to the soft snow. He let go as blood poured out of the wolf. Memories started flooding into the back of his head. Tears started welling up in his 'eyes'. "I'm sorry... But I have to do this.. "He whispered with a slight voice crack. He charched at another. But he didn't attack him. Once he pinned him against a tree, he felt bad and let go. He calmed down a bit and walked up to the largest and most dangerous one named Scar. He looked up at him and his ears went down a notch. Scar walked away into the mountains with his pack. Tom walked up to Tord and said "you'll be safe with me" as he wrapped his tail around the rabbit. Tom looked down at him. The rabbit looked up at Tom, making eye contact. They both just smiled and stared at the sunset, not caring about anyone else.
