Power Within Me

Ava moans (not sexually, for all you dirty minded people) as she rolls to the other side of the bed.

"Do you think she'll remember us?" Someone asks in a whisper. 

"I think so," the other replies back. 

"But what if she forgotten about us. Especially since after her parents diss-" 

Before the guy can finish, the other guy elbows him in the gut which causes the guy to grunt. 

"Don't say that in front of her, dumbass," the other guy hisses at him. 

At that moment, Ava jolts upwards which causes one of the guys to fall down. 

"O-Ouch..." the guy groans in pain. 

 Sweat trails down Ava's neck as her breathing slows down. Before she is able to do anything else, she comes to a realization that she is not on the second floor anymore. 

'Huh? W-Where am I?'

Ava blinks her eyes once...then twice. She looks at her surroundings to see two boys staring at her; one on the ground while one is standing up. A girl, who attends this school and know who is standing before them, will immediately think they are in heaven but for Ava...it is a different experience. 

Tears threatens to come out as she blinks, trying not to cry. 

"Eric...Nicholas..." She mutters under her breath but loud enough for two of them to hear.

"H-Hey...Y-You know you don't have to cry...Ava," Eric tries to comfort, "The good news is that you don't have to miss seeing my handsome face anymore." 

This earns him a punch in the face by Nicholas which causes him to "fly" to the other side of the of the school nurse's office and hit the wall, hard.

"You seriously are annoying sometimes," Nicholas irritably said as he turns around. 

With his fast reflex, Eric is able to quickly jump on Nicholas and strangles him. 

"If you're going to punch me then I'll strangle you," Eric replies with a maniac laugh as Nicholas tries to get him off of his shoulders.

While Nicholas and Eric are fighting, they (not surprisingly) cause a ruckus in the nurse's office. Chairs, tables and flower vases all gets broken by them. Eric and Nicholas also (somehow) is able to shift some of the beds while fighting each other. 

Ava looks at the scene in front of her.

'Just like back in the days...'

She closes her eyes as a smile/smirk appears on her face. 

"You guys never change do you?" She murmurs under her breath. 

Both of them stops fighting as they turn to look at her, a confused expression on their faces. 

"Huh?" 

"We are in the nurses office on the very FIRST day of school!" She shouts as shivers runs through their spinal cord, "When we could be learning...you guys are here fighting and causing a ruckus in the nurse's office!" 

With this Ava joins in on the fight by jumping on top of Eric, his head settling in between her legs.

"You dumbasses...You never even helped me find my locker which I've been trying to fucking find!" She yells, trying to not hit her head on the floor above her, as she pulls Eric's hair which causes him to shriek. 

 This fight between the trio did not last for long, however, since they are unable to maintain their balance on top of each other's shoulder...and also because Nicholas wasn't known to be the strongest in lower body strength. 

"Y-You...g-guys...a-are...t-too heavy...C-Can't...keep up...w-with this..." Nicholas said before he (and the other two on top of him) crashes down onto the floor (and unfortunately on top of Nicholas too) with a THUD!

At first, a mutual silence between them forms. The only sound that they can hear are the ticks of the clock on the wall. 

Ava sighs tiredly as she sprawls out on top of Eric. 

"I...I've missed you guys..." She mutters, slowly falling to sleep. 

Eric breath in and out slowly as he unconsciously wraps both of his arms around her waist.

After 5 hours past Eric tighten his grips on her as he tries to quietly stand up, careful not to wake the sleeping body lying on top of him.

"I'll take Ava to her house..." Eric said to Nicholas, who only nods in return, as Eric wraps both of Ava's feet around his waist as he walks out of the nurse's office. 

After the door closes behind him, Nicholas sighs as he tries to arrange the beds back into place. 

'We have caused a lot of ruckus today...Too much for the first day of school.'

He sighs again as he takes out his phone, calling his personal assistant to pick him up. 

No one, however, seems to notice a strange and unusual black figure underneath the bed Ava nap in.

I hope you enjoy this chapter as always. The clock animation is kinda weird but I also think it's kinda funny (Don't judge. I have a weird sense of humor) so I put it as the front picture.  Oh and this book is kind of (not really) inspired by Naruto or Fairy Tail. But it's not that much so yeah...
