"Master," a person rushed inside the barely lit room holding some sort of bundle.

The person on the throne widened his eyes a bit at the sudden entrance. The guards on the sides of the room held out their spears at the person. Before they were about to attack, the person on the throne held out his free hand to them signaling them to put their weapons down in which they did. The person on the throne took one last sip from the golden goblet in his hand before giving it back to the person on his right as he took a napkin from the person on his left. He wiped his face clean of crumbs as he gave it back to the person on his left. His lips were still red and look swollen a bit. He clapped his hands gaining everyone's attention.

Everyone in the room bowed down to him as the person on the throne stood up and walked over to the person.

"Why the sudden entrance, Serumdex? You know that you are not permitted here without my permission," The person strictly ordered.

"I am sorry for my sudden burst in the room, Master Daeminum but I have some evidence from the war going on in Sylvia that you requested," Serumdex stated handing him something wrapped.

Daeminum cocked his eyebrows at him, hesitating at first.

"Do not worry, Master Dae. There won't be anything suspicious in here," Serumdex reassured before a guard roughly pushed him down to the ground with the sharp spear on his neck.

"It is against the rule to call the Master by a nickname! Only people as close and elite to him are allowed to call Master by a nickname! You are just merely a peasant who-"

Before the guard can finish Daeminum held out his hand to him. The guard hesitated at first but in the end, he got his spear off of of the man on the floor. Serumdex, on the hand, was quivering with fear as blood dripped down his neck.

Daeminum sighed.

"Servants go take him at the infirmary and treat his wound. I'll talk to him later about this bundle he brought," Daeminum ordered as multiple servants carried the body of Serumdex somewhere else.

Once the servants left, Daeminum glared at the guard who made Serumdex bleed who was kneeling before him.

"Guard 541, you can not make unnecessary threats in this castle without my permission. You clearly have forgotten to read the rules every day which is a permit for all guards to memorize and read it in front of the elite guards every month," Daeminum said strictly at him, "You know that Rule 10 states..."

"To never do anything in the Master's castle without his permission to do so." The guards in unison finished.

"Rule 34 states..."

"That no one can be able to go anywhere else after midnight without the permission of the elite guards."

"Rule 9 states..."

"Guards can not be able to hit or attack someone if the master is nearby without his permission to do so," they finished.

"Rule 2589 states..."

"All weapons used by the military can not be used for personal use. The weapons are only used to protect the master, the master's family, the elites, and the people," the guards finished together.

"And finally the last and most important rule is..."

"All people are strictly prohibited from killing or betraying one another. We must have each other's back and would risk our lives for one another whatever the cost may be."
