Jin comes out of the lounge bathroom wearing his usual uniform, the green suit now folded neatly on his hands.
He walks over to Namjoon, who's fiddling with his phone. "I'm done changing." He says, waving the suit around. "We better return it to Hoseok's class."
"Alright." Namjoon replies, slipping his phone into his back pocket. He takes the suit out of his hands and hands Jin his bag that he abruptly left on him earlier.
Jin happily hangs it back on his shoulder as Namjoon frowns, "Just so you know that costume is ugly."
"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, Joonie."
Namjoon ignores Jin's mocking. "How did you get into that mess of a skit anyway?"
"I volunteered." Jin answers simply with a raised brow. "Hoseok needed an alien and I provided."
Namjoon grumbles, tucking the clothing under his arm and striding out the room. "I'm happy you consented." He says, throwing back a pointed look. "I was dragged into that."
"It wasn't so bad Namjoon." Jin concedes, catching up with him to close the door behind them. "You gotta know how to adapt to situations."
"That wasn't adapting." Namjoon grits through his teeth, "That was taking my dignity and ripping it to pieces."
"Oh please." Jin scoffs, "You should be used to that by now. You're with me!" He says, giving Namjoon a playful nudge.
"That just makes you out to be a terrible person."
"A terrible person who wants to stop you from growing up to be a boring slate of a generic hardworking soul." Jin tuts, using his disciplinarian tone.
Namjoon gives him a look. "Again, what's wrong with being so hardworking and diligent?"
"You get no time for yourself." Jin states, simply letting it be his only reason. "I'm just loosing you up now and then."
"Now and then feels an awful lot like everyday." Namjoon deadpans.
Jin chuckles and pokes him on the cheek. "Keep up that frown and its going to get stuck, you know."
Namjoon yields, a small smile on his lips. "Whatever."
They continue to walk in silence to nowhere in particular. It's a small moment of peace from an otherwise very hectic day.
Jin pauses in his tracks, and Namjoon follows in suite. "What?" He asks, a little confused at Jin's sudden silence.
"I forgot to take pictures!" Jin finally exclaims after a moment. He begins to unzip his bag and rummages through it, "My phone was in the bag so I didn't get to take selfies!"
"Of course." Namjoon mutters, "I'm actually pretty relieved you didn't get the alien thing on camera."
"It would've been a precious memory, Namjoon!"
Namjoon glares at him. "No, it would've been blackmail material."
Jin isn't fazed by his glare, "But a memory to cherish no less."
Namjoon rolls his eyes, not bothering for a reply as Jin finally gets ahold of his phone and unlocks it with a sigh.
"Okay then." Jin mutters, swiping through the screen hastily. "Let's take one now."
"What?"
"A picture. Selfie." Jin explains, tugging on Namjoon's arm. "Right now."
"In the middle of the hall? Jin--"
"Namjoon come on." Jin drawls, bringing the camera in front of them. "It'll just be a sec." He pulls them to stand next to the window, so they won't get in anybody's way.
Namjoon acquiesces, ducking his head to be in line with the camera's range.
Almost.
Jin pouts, "Namjoon. Be in the actual shot with me."
"What are you talking about." Namjoon mutters. avoiding eye contact. "My face is right here."
"Half of your face is." Before Namjoon can counter with his remark, Jin presses his cheeks to his and tilts the camera to get then both, Namjoon feels his face burn. "There we go, now smile!"
Jin takes the first photo and Namjoon's surprised at how normal he looks. Not bad.
"Alright now puff out your cheeks."
"What."
Jin turns to him and sure enough his cheeks are round with air. "Like this."
He looks like an adorable chipmunk and Namjoon's not sure if he can pull the look off too.
But Namjoon decides that if he argues with him, this would just last longer. And judging from the passing looks everyone's giving them, he really wants this to stop soon.
He puffs out his cheeks with Jin, and Jin takes the shot immediately.
"This one's my favourite." He mutters, checking out the photo before bringing the phone up again. "Alright! Last one!"
"Good. My face is starting to get sore."
Jin grins mischievously, "Do your best aegyo face."
"No."
"Namjoon." Jin says, nudging him expectantly.
Namjoon inhales and exhales deeply. "Alright fine."
Namjoon scrunches up his face in what he hopes is cute enough, and he hears the click of Jin's camera.
"Look at you!" Jin coos, showing him the picture. "You're so cute!"
Namjoon huffs, the blush on his cheeks growing intense. "Okay."
Jin doesn't hesitate to make it his wallpaper and Namjoon frowns. "Did you just-"
"Yeah?" Jin asks slyly, looking back at him. "What's wrong?"
Namjoon narrows his eyes on him, "It's your wallpaper."
Jin nods, barely keeping his laughter in.
"If I ask you to change it, will you?"
"I don't know." Jin sing songs.
"Please change it."
"No."
