(After like, 6 months of writing this story, I'm so sorry, it had to come to an end.)

June 29th 2018

"And it gives me great honours to announce our graduates today!" Brendon spoke at the podium. All the furniture was cleared in the living room, and made to look like a graduation ceremony. Brendon does a lot for us, and I'm so glad he's my dad!

"First up! Drake Arnold!" Brendon announced. Drake stood up, his graduation gown flowing on the ground. His cap was placed in his head with the tassel on the right side, like all of our hats. He walked on the little podium and shook Brendon's hand. His parents snapped a photo and Brendon handed him his diploma.

"Congratulations!" Brendon bro hugged him. He took his tassel and moved it to the left. Drake walked off the podium and over to his parents. They hugged him, and I almost cried. It was so sweet.

"Astrid Hutchison!" Brendon called. I smiled as I saw my best friend get up and walk over to my father. He handed her the diploma and they looked at the photographer, Drake's parents. Brendon leaned in and hugged her. He moved her tassel to the left and smiled at her.

"Congrats!" She walked off stage and over to her parents. I looked over at Sarah, who was sitting in front of me with Marisa, my sister. Sarah had her wedding ring on her finger and was smiling so bright. I loved her!

"Patrick Matthams!" Brendon, once more, spoke into the microphone. He got up and smiled at everyone, walking up to Brendon. Brendon shook his hand and passed him his diploma. They quickly bro hugged. He grabbed his tassel of his graduation cap and moved it to the left.

"Congratulations!" He beamed. Patrick walked off and Brendon looked back down at the paper.

"Avery Reigner!" Brendon looked in the crowd and saw her stand up. He flashed her a smile as she walked up to the podium.

"Here you go!" He gave her the piece of paper and moved her tassel over to the left. They hugged and she walked off stage. This was it... it was my turn.

"Faelecia Urie!" Brendon smiled as he said my name. I got up and felt my gown fall against the floor. It felt like it took me hours to get there, but it was only a few steps away. While I'm on the podium, I see so many people that make me happy. Sarah, Marisa, Noah, Mark, and most importantly, Brendon. I walked up to him and take a deep breath in. He shakes my hand and places my diploma in it. He smiled at me and moved my tassel to the left. The photo was taken and I squeezed Brendon in a tight hug.

"I love you!" I whispered.

"I love you too!" He replied. He quickly kissed me on the lips. Father-daughter style. I walked off the stage and sat beside Mark, whom was sitting beside Noah, whom was sitting beside Sarah and the baby.

"Can I have everyone stand up please?" Brendon asked. Everyone did as told and all of us grade eights, or should I say former grade eights, gathered together. Brendon pressed a button and I'm on top of the world by Imagine Dragons started playing. Everyone threw their caps in the air. It may not have been that cool, but it was an experience. An experience that Mr. Canel wouldn't give us.

I looked over to see Mark clapping, along with Noah. Sarah was balling her eyes out and Brendon was shedding a few tears. All four of them came up to me and hugged me.

"I'm so proud of you!" Brendon shouted over the music. I hugged all of them tightly. They've gotten me through a lot. Noah got me through my break up. Mark got me through the rough times. Sarah helped me with my problems. And Brendon... Brendon helped me through life. He was always there for me, thick and thin. Yes, we fought sometimes, but everyone does. He was my idol, my idol who was my father. I loved with him. He had the pleasure of calling me his daughter. And I was proud to call him my father. We broke the hug and Brendon turned down the music.

"I'd like to say something!" Mark walked up to the podium. Everyone turned to face him and he smiled, looking at me.

"I remember when I was in school. It wasn't my favourite. And grade eight... well grade eight was hard for me. So I'd like to congratulate everyone on surviving it!" Everyone clapped and Mark smiled.

"Thank you!" He walked off. Brendon walked up, taking a deep breath.

"And I'd like to say one last thing before ending this incredible evening. I remember when I first adopted Faelecia. She was a shy girl. She was always so nervous. And now, now she's matured into a young adult. A woman. She's always looking to make new friends and never nervous to speak her own mind. I'd like to thank everyone in this room for making her who she is today, because I couldn't ask for a better daughter!" I teared up. Luckily my mascara was water proof.

"And for the last time," He put on his famous smile. The smile that was always there to cheer me up.

"I am Brendon Urie, goodnight!"
