Unexpected World of Love_Chapter3/ FIRST TIME: The Worst Enemy

One Monday, morning I woke up and I heard the television opened downstairs from the living room where it was located. My heart pound fast and my mind narrowed that someone was there, maybe a rubbery, Monster.

Since that, I was the only person who stayed while my father was on his Business outside the country; I obligated myself to be responsible.

But, that time I didn't know. For the fact that I got the baseball bat from the cabinet and slowly towards the living room; when raised my bat, positioned myself to attack and hit whoever's there, someone close my eyes. He got the bat from my hand, so then I intended to shout but...

He slowly moved his face towards my ear and whispered, "Don't shout or else, I will kill you."

I could feel the temper of his body as it touched mine. I didn't know what to do, my heart still pound fast, and when he hands off of my eyes I looked at him with nervous.

"Cl... Clark?" I gulped of what I'd seen.

"You were totally dumb don't you know that? How would you go to sleep without knowing you are safe, ha?" He scowled.

I understood how he cared for me. I mean have you seen someone like me who would leave the door open because of her stupidity.

"Well yeah. I'm totally lost last night, I 'am really tired, that's why I forgot to lock the door.I guess these words would have made him to stay calm, and aside I had nothing to say. I was drunk. Last night was fun. We went at club that was I remembered that night I was with him.

"So? I don't care. If I had no time to checked you this morning, did you think what would happen to you? What if, real rubbery came in and not me? What if someone who had the intentioned to get things inside your house and not planning to kill you, but they've done?" he blared.

I understood him, but still my hearts felt sarcastically that I couldn’t explain. I sulked and it seems that he knew it. He walked closely to mine.

But then he apologized from what he said and I felt his sincerity.

"I understand you, you were such a nice person to me and you were just worried of what I've done. Thanks by the way." I said with confidence inside me.

So we sat from the coach where my dad brought from the Philippines, First, I let him calmed down. I felt was unexpected. I never knew that Clark would do the same thing as my parents did whenever they'd lecture me. When he steadily felt okay, I walked upstairs to take a shower. Since its Monday and 7:58 of the morning, I hurried, and got my things, and walked downstairs. Clark looked and smiled.

"Awesome," He commented.

"I know since birth," I replied.

"Are you making a joke? Coz' it's really funny." He teased me while laughing.

 "Whatever!" I replied feeling annoyed.

So we continued teasing each other and talked about last night.

Before going to school, he drove at the food court. We ordered our meal, ate, and paid, then drove towards the campus parking lot. From the entrance gate, Clark and I separated and gave each of us a goodbye words.

As I walked through the hallway, I never had seen any student aside from those three guys. I stopped, when I saw one of them looked at me so strangely, he's 50 feet's steps away from me. I ignored them and tried to walk again.
