Chapter 3: Prep Time

 Pinakilala sakin ni Ettiene and taong naghihintay sa amin sa dress shop.

"Ezelle, this is Cosette. She's in charge of your gown for the ball.
"It's nice to meet you, Lady Ezelle."
"It's nice to meet you too Cosette." Nag shake hands kami.

"Allow me to escort you inside the room." Sabi ni Cosette.
Tumingin ako kay Ettiene. He just nodded and I nodded too. Sumama ako kay Cosette at naiwan si Ettiene sa labas ng fitting room. 

"Waa, what a grand fitting room!" Namangha ako.
Cosette smiled. "It is actually the most extravagant at pinaka mahal na dress shop dito Lady Ezelle."

Lumingon ako sa kanya. "Are you also a vampire?" tanong ko.

She moved her hands. "No, not at all. Pero sa North Mansion po ako nagtatrabaho."

Humawak ako sa isa sa mga gowns. "Working under vampires must be so tiring, right?" I asked.
"Please sit here." Tinuro niya ang upuan sa harap niya. "Not at all, Lord Zero is a very nice master."

"Lord Zero is the master of the Northern Mansion." She explained. "Subukan niyo pong suotin ito." She handed me a black gown.

"Sige, salamat." Nagbihis ako sa loob ng wardrobe.

Paglabas ko, sinuri kaagad ni Cosette ang gown ko. "Hmm...medyo boring siya para sa ganda mo Lady Ezelle. Try this one." She handed me another gown.

"Um, I've heard Alec and the others talk about your master. What's he like?" I asked habang nag susuot.


"Lord Zero is just an alias. Pero wala talagang nakaka-alam ng tunay niyang pangalan. Hindi naman siya masyadong lumalabas sa study niya. Only few people have seen his face." Wika ni Cosette.


"Talaga?" I pulled the curtains aside. "U-uh, how is this?"
"Lady Ezelle, it's perfect! Napakaganda mong tingnan!" She praised.

Inayos ayos niya ang gown ko. "Let's do your hair next." Pinaupo niya ako sa harap ng salamin.

"Ang ganda ng napili mong gown." I smiled.
"It's my job. Stylist." She remarked.
"That's admirable."
"Thank you."


After a while natapos na rin kami.
"Tatawagin ko po si Lord Ettiene." Wika ni Cosette.


Paglabas niya, tiningnan ko ang sarili ko sa salamin. (Napakagaling ni Cosette) She literally made me look like a princess.


I heard Cosette's and Etienne's voice from outside at papasok na sila.
"There she is." Cosette presented me. Tumayo ako. "H-how do I look?"


Ettiene was stunned.
"Hey...Ettiene." I waved my hand.
"Ha...? Ah, hmm... You look very cute." He smiled.
"Isn't she?" Cosette smiled as well.

"Binobola niyo naman ako eh." I blushed. "Salamat, Cosette. We'll go with this one." Sabi ni Ettiene.
Nag bow si Cosette. "As you wish, Lord Ettiene."


Natapos rin ang mahabang hapon. Nilagay sa malaking kahon ang gown na nabili namin.
"Salamat, Cosette." I smiled at her habang nasa loob ng karwahe.
"I'll see you again Lady Ezelle. At the ball." She waved her hand.
"Let's go home, Alfred." Sabi ni Ettiene sa nag mamameho ng karwahe.

Habang nagbabyahe tinanong ko si Ettiene.
