" What!!!!" Erupted the shouts of confusion as he engulfed me in his arms and twirled me around before gently placing me down.

"Jake Wilder, is that really you? Didn't you" *huff* *huff* " Didn't you leave for Canada?".

Still looking at me with a bewildered expression he began, but no sound escaped, then he promptly began to rumble in a loud boom of laughter. Quite a pleasant sound might I add.

"Well, yeah. But I just couldn't stay away from my bestie for long now, could I? So, I came back to New York. Just for you." He whispers to me as I direct a playfully light smack at his arms.

*Brrring* *BrrringThe second round of warning bells slowly disperses the confused crowd but not without the help of our intimidating Becca. Yes, yes, hurry off now! It was getting a little too weird with all the stares that the crowd of students were giving, to this incognito craving nerd.  The brief glance I spared to the crowd around us returns to the friend standing before me and from the corner of my peripheral vision I see Becca standing guard a few ways off in the distance. I appreciate her being here.

"Okay okay, actually my dad got reposted here." he explains as he rubs his arms in a playful manner. "You know Anna, I think you just saved me. After that fight I was sure that I would die alone here, in this random high school that my mother forced me into. But instead, I find my bestie here, how about that." The end of his speech turns his deep voice into a light pitched squeak, all the while grinning widely, ear to ear, as his eyes lit up. "You know, I missed you, Katie."

* Insert Anna's attempt at an embarrassingly awkward laugh.*

"Anyways, Jake, what happened there? I mean, what prompted that crazy fight?" At his reprehensible scowl I scurry on to explain myself.

" D-don't get me wrong, I'm not objecting to it, seeing as how you pummeled one of the only assholes who bully me at school." Jake stares off at the ceiling, organizing his thoughts, I presume, while Becca gave , the flabbergasted me, an amused look while slightly bobbing her head from side to side in a horizontal manner as she mouthed to me 'see you later, boss.'

Rebecca, herself, trained me in the manner of staying calm and level minded in any situation thrown at me by literally throwing me in said situations, and by her own evaluations, proclaimed that I was one her best pupils. So, seeing me crack a little after such long while must have been very amusing to her, indeed. Especially since I had her respect as her 'boss'. I laugh a little at myself for cracking today, no matter the magnitude of my composure crack. I guess there always is room for improvement. My train of thoughts snap back as I hear a deep voice start speaking.

"Well, being the new kid in this school I was looking around and may have zoned out of it for a minute there, and the next thing I knew, I caught myself midway while bumping into a stranger. But, seeing how gravity is cruel, my momentum carried me into the guy nonetheless, and we both tumbled onto the floor. I apologized, obviously, seeing how it was my fault to begin with, and was about to make my way out when suddenly he caught me by my collar and pulled me back to him, asking if I knew who I was messing with."

" Not anything out of the ordinary then." I say while rolling my eyes. Somewhat happy inside that the lackeys finally got what they deserved for always obstructing motion. I always knew that, that cowardice move they pulled would, one day, get them seriously beaten up. I'm really glad it was today. Instant karma is nice to witness from time to time.
