I Arrived At The Party Before Anyone Else.. I Watched When Derrick Showed Up.. He Was Looking For Someone.. I Was Over Near The Punch Bowl Most Of The Time.. Not Really Drinking But Watching Everyone Do Their Own Thing..

After A While L.J Showed Up With Jerome.. L.J Was Talking To Him.. They Conversed For A While Then Jerome Showed L.J A Text On His Phone and They Separated.. L.J Sat On The Couch.. And Jerome Went Upstairs Still Staring At His Phone.. Something Was Going On..

I Looked Out Of The Corner Of My Eye And Saw Anna Giving Some Type Of Pep-Talk To Sheila.. After A While Sheila Walked Away And Anna Was Walking Over Towards The Punch Bowl.. I Was Praying That She wasn't Walking Towards Me.. My Prayers Were Answered Because She Walked Right Past Me Without A Glance.. She Automatically Started Talking To Some High School Guy....

I Looked Back Over To Sheila She Was Talking To L.J.. She Was Pulling Him.. Next Thing I Know They're Walking Towards The Back.. Just As They Walked Away Mariah Walked In.. A Sudden Rush Of Joy..
