"okay class, today we will be talking about the differences and similarities regarding schizophrenia and personality disorder,"
"can anyone tell me what they think a difference is between these two mental illnesses ?" the professor looked around the classroom as no one raised their hand. i could feel myself getting tired by the second, my eyes were getting closer and closer to being completely shut.
"what about you stephanie?" he called on a girl who was on her phone not paying attention.
"put your hand down daniel, i know that you know the answer. i want to call on someone who rarely talks in this class let me see hmm." his eyes scans the room and shortly after his eyes locked with mine.
"what about you miss angelique francis?" i quickly fluttered my eyes opened then giving the most dumbest answer because this class was irrelevant to me.
"they both start with different letters?" i just shrugged my shoulders as the class started laughing.
"wrong answer. one reason why they are different is because schizophrenia is more severe than having a personality disorder. also, those who have been diagnosed with schizophrenia have hallucinations. now, since angelique has given us a bad answer on the first question i'll make her answer the second." he kept direct eye contact with me as i still continued found it hard to pay attention in his boring class.
"okay angelique, define hallucination." he folded his arms expecting me not to know the answer but i did.
"hallucination is an experience where one can think that something is there but in reality it's not,"
"in other words,it is an experience where a person can feel, see and hear something that isn't there." i sat up in my seat knowing that i did well.
"that is right angelique. that's why it's good to pay attention in this class."
"moving on, there are only a little bit of similarities between the two. in both cases, the person thinks that they are being followed by someone which means that they are paranoid."
"schizophrenia is a long term mental disorder that divides reality and delusions. people that have been diagnosed with this illness are considered dangerous because they think, say and will do horrible things to hurt someone in a bad way. this is because of the paranoia one can have based on how severed their condition is."
"a personality disorder is a mental disorder that is characterized by different moods as well as, relationships with people they interact with and their behavior."
"since we aren't really going to be talking much about personality disorders i'll talk to you guys a bit about one of the personality disorders that you guys probably seemed interested in."
"since i'm sure many of you have seen the movie "split" that's how it is for some of the patients i've encountered. it is called dissociative identity disorder. this mental illness is more related to schizophrenia because they have a lot of symptoms."
"both schizophrenia and those who suffer from DID, go through mood swings, depression, suicidal thoughts, and hallucinations."
"tomorrow we will talk about the different categories of schizophrenia. all of you soon will be writing an essay talking about the effects schizophrenia has on the people who are diagnosed with the mental disorder."
"we will talk more about this tomorrow class." the bell ranged as i was called over from the professor.
"see angelique you are a bright young student, please pay attention in my class. this will be my only time telling you because your an adult but it is good to know certain things about this. especially, if you want to pursue psychology as a career. have a good day."he smiled as i walked out of his classroom.
"hello angelique." i turn around to see jimin smiling and waving.
"umm hi? i've got questions for you." i noticed his eyes were sharper than usual. he slight roller his eyes then quickly put his arm around my shoulder.
"as we walk to the next class, you can ask me anything but as soon as we reach the doors the talking must stop so go." jimin smirked .
"well um where did you go after you ran out of the school building? you realize that we still have one class after lunch ." i looked to see that he pulled me closer to him, i could feel my heartbeat increase by the second.
"i didn't have any classes after lunch anyways. and plus i was running because something came up." he just smiled as continued to walk me down the hall to our next class which was math.
"well why are you being so nice to me? just the they day you grabbed me like you wanted to kill me. and all of a sudden your acting nice." i furrowed my eyebrows as i rolled my eyes in annoyance.
"because what if the other day i did actually want to kill you?" his face was now straight as a rock.
"errmmm but i know your joking." i began laughing as i heard him say something under his breathe.
"what was that jimin?" he shook his head.
"nothing just that i actually wasn't joking." you changed the subject because you were getting a tad uncomfortable.
"who's jin?" we stopped and faced the door to the math class.

"oh shit princess it's too late for the questions now. we have just now reached our destination." jimin took his arm from around my shoulders and walked into the class. i followed directly behind him.
he has such a beautiful smile.
"how about you meet me after class by the locker than we can talk more at a more private place."
"let's go back to my place."
"okay jimin i'm glad you wanna be friends" he walked to his seat.
"yeah friends." angelique didn't notice but he had a devious smile on his face.
